英语谚语是洋溢着异国文化气
息的哲理性语言,是智慧的结晶。近年的高考英
语试题中的谚语的出现频率越来越高,它通常与情景交际
题、阅读理解等题型结合,
用来提供情景或点明观点主旨。在英语作文中适当引用一些谚语或名言,往往
也会
起到画龙点睛的作用,为文章增光添彩。
