General Introduction

I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong
University， P。 R。 China。 With tremendous interest in Industrial
Engineering， I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph。

D。 graduate program。

BACKGROUND

I was born in a small village of Shan Dong Province on April 4th， 1968。
When I was young， my family was very poor， so I had to work to earn money
to help my parents after class when I was in the middle school。

In 1986 I was admitted by University of International Business and
Economics (or: UIBE) to pursue a bachelor degree in Economics。 My major
is accounting in Department of International Business Management。 The
undergraduate education gave me a wide range of vision and taught me how
to cooperate with others。 I developed several professional interests in
Accounting， Finance， and International Trade。

The following eight-year working experience offered me a good chance
to give full play to my creativity， intelligence and diligence。 In
1990-1993， I worked as an assistant to funding manager in China National
Technical Import and Export Corporation。 In 1993-present， I was employed
by China Kingdom Import and Export Corporation to be the Manger of Financial
and Accounting Division。

I do believe that with my hard early life， solid educational background
and ample working experience， I would be an excellent student of you MBA
program。

MY PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT: After graduating from UIBE， I was employed
as the assistant to the funding manager by China National Technical Import
and Export Corporation。 After reading a lot of related files， and
analyzing the overall funding situation of the corporation， I found that
the loan policy was not been put into effect。 So we have thousands of
millions RMB loan with very high interest rate while a large amount of cash
in bank with very low interest rate was idle。 I reported this to my
supervisor， and then we studied and revised the loan policy。 This revision
saved the corporation approximately RMB thirty millions yuan。 In order
to raise the funding effectiveness， after one years hard work， I developed
the internal banking system within the corporation based on the actual
funding supply and need of the different divisions and projects。 This
internal banking system made full use of the corporation funding resources，

and due to this， I was highly praised by the president of the corpora

tion。

WHY CHOOSE YOUR MBA PROGRAM? After I have worked in business area for
eight years， I feel that I need to continue my education by pursuing a
Master degree in business administr

ation。 I have practiced my professional expertise in accounting，
demonstrated my leadership abilities and perfected my munication skills。
But I have yet to bee an entrepreneur in my own right， and to fully master
the art of modern business。 I want to be trained more vigorously in
scientific methods of analysis and synthesis。 There are a lot of
opportunities and challenges in China that I do not yet fell fully confident
to seize。 My business career has so far benefited mostly the panies that
I worked for， but a good business education in your university will
probably bee a new era for me。

Your university is well known for its excellence in Chinas business
education。 I am sure that， with my extensive business experience， I can
be a worthy student of yours。 I am anxious to benefit from your seasoned
guidance and take advantage of your research facilities。

First let me introduce myself。 My name is LiShuai， and my English
name is Jacky Lee。 I've finished my undergraduate education in Xidian
University， Majoring in Electronic Science and Technology in the college
of Technical Physics。

I am open-minded， willing and have broad interests like basketball，
reading and especially in engineering such as software programming，
website design， hardware design。 For example， during the past four years，
I have acplished two websites: one is the website of our school， and the
other is the website of the doctor forum of china 20xx。 Furthermore， I
am interested in C plus plus programming language and have written some
application programs。 In July in the last year，I finished my graduate
project with flying colors，which was a software application about Image
Process 。 In addition， I have also finished some projects about embedded
system by using MCU when I was a junior。

Although I have broad interests in many aspects and grasp the essential
knowledge of the major， but I think at present， I can do many things in
a superficial level， but not be petent to do things professionally owing

to lack of ample knowledge and ability。 So I think further study is still
urgent for me to realize self-value。

The major that I hope pursue for my further education is IC design。
Because I find integrated circuits are playing a more and more important
role in our modern society。 And nowadays in China， with the recognition
by the government， our domestic integrated circuits industry is growing
rapidly and that may provide a lot of chances to us。

I plan to concentrate on study and research in this field in my graduate
time。 And I hope I can form a systematic view of micro electronics and
IC design technology and make a solid foundation for future profession
after three years study here。

过这么多 年的风尘岁月，才知道，我曾经拥有的是怎样水汪汪，要命的蓝。细细端详，这硕大的穹庐蓝的似一匹绸缎，无一 丝褶皱，抻开，抹平，绵绵延，
铺展开去，无边无际，仿佛可以拧出水来。不，怎能舍得碰它？那分明是 哪位大师的杰作，小心呵护着，用澄碧的心调出这无与伦比的蓝，并把它熨烫得
如此平整细腻。或者，那 是爱人手里握着的一泓泉吧，从来不曾放手，只给心爱的人看，用柔情织出蜜一样的蔚蓝，妥帖的，以爱的名义证 明，这蓝是午
夜飞出的清梦一朵。见过太多的蓝色，深蓝.蓝紫.湖蓝.蓝绿.宝蓝.青蓝.灰蓝……它 们被不同的色彩调和成了不同颜色的蓝，或清美或沉静或隽雅或深远，它
们都因为有了蓝的底色而变得意 境悠远，韵味悠长，它们蓝得深邃与刻骨，一眼便可让人沉醉下去，仿佛啜饮了陈年佳酿。这蓝是心头化不开的浓 情，非
要以岁月之笔在已酥软的心上再刻上一笔，以求永恒的存在。我喜欢蓝绿色，在博客的文章里，曾 一度选择此颜色，它没有草儿的鲜绿， 却足以让我的心
柔软似水，汩汩而流。它更像我想象中的爱情的 颜色，不凌厉，不突兀，放在哪里都可浑然成景，灵动非常。我蓝色的衣服不多，在浩瀚的衣海中，所接
触的蓝总觉得与心中的蓝差那么一点点，就一点点便差之千里。它不可以太俗艳也不能过于老气，那种蓝应该是接 近灵魂的颜色，接近海的最本质的蓝，
它可以不耀眼但一定要温润顺随，一定要灵动飘逸，就像一阵风吹 过，蓝色古意便荡漾而出，有如秋风拂面。尤其钟爱青花瓷，看似轻描淡写的几笔蓝却
勾勒出了风情万种 的妖娆和无限风情。它不夺目却可以牢牢吸引着你，心中如烟似雾缭绕的是它那婀娜的线条，百转千回，百媚丛生 。更似绝色女人淡淡
的眼神，有意无意的一瞥，便生生牵出一个浅吟低唱、烟雨迷蒙的江南。也喜欢由青 花瓷衍生出来的衣服，穿在腰肢柔软的女子身上，也是如诗如画呀！
我心中一直有这样一抹蓝，没有办法 用准确的词语形容出它的颜色，我却可以在浩淼的颜色中一眼认出它，仿佛前世的自己。东晋太元年间，武陵郡有 个
人以捕鱼为生。一天，他顺着一条曲折宛转的溪流划船，不知不觉间忘了路程远近的距离。忽然遇到一 片茂盛的桃花林，花朵争奇斗艳、美不胜收，粉的
仿佛天边的云霞，桃林生长在溪流的两岸长达几百步， 一眼望不到边，中间没有别的杂树，只余下一路飞扬的桃花，地上芳香的野草青翠欲滴、鲜嫩美丽，
落英 缤纷，让人起怜惜之意。渔人对桃花林绮丽的景色感到非常诧异。又再次向前行进，想要走到林子的尽头，一探究 竟。桃林在涓涓溪流的发源处就到
头了，紧接着便出现一座巍峨大山，山边有一个隐秘的小洞口，里面隐 隐约约好像有些光亮似的，令人心生疑惑，好奇心更盛。于是渔人就大胆离开船上
岸，小心翼翼地从洞口 进入。开始很狭窄，仅仅只能让一个人通过。又缓慢向前行走了几十步，突然就由狭窄幽暗变得开阔明亮了。这里 土地平坦宽阔，
房舍整整齐齐，有肥沃的良田亩亩，美丽的池塘中养了许多活泼的小鱼，鳞片在阳光的照 射下显得闪闪发光，以及桑树竹子之类的花草树木。田间中的羊
肠小道交错相通、四通八达，村落间鸡鸣 犬吠声处处可以听到。那田中来来往往辛勤耕田劳作的人们，男女的衣服穿戴，都像桃花源外与世隔绝、世风淳< br>厚的世人一样。老人和小孩，都安闲快乐。所有人安居乐业。那里面的人看见了渔人，竟然大吃一惊，问渔 人从哪里来。渔人详细的回答了他们的问题。

时的战乱， 带领妻子儿女以及乡邻来到这个与人世隔绝的地方，从此没有再出去，于是就与外面的人断绝了来往。他们问起现 在是什么朝代，竟然不知道
有过汉朝，更不必说魏晋了。渔人一一向他们详尽的说出了自己所听到的事， 村中的人都感叹惋惜。其余的人又各自邀请渔人到他们家中“我在一个美观
的当地”“一个奥秘又悠远的 当地”柔软的蓝色沙发，横条靠枕，绝无仅有的岩石，漫天彩霞和迷醉其间的大海，正是塞舌尔的极乐岛。16岁 的精灵落在这
儿，笑起来比景色更迷人。

自从英国威廉王子和凯特王妃在塞舌 尔北岛度蜜月，江湖上就开端有了塞舌尔的传说。由于免签，总算有幸得见北京至塞舌尔有直飞航班，每周一班， 倒
也便利。11小时，再一睁眼，便怦然心动。如果说马尔代夫是一个精美优雅的女子，那塞舌尔这不食 人间烟火的姿态，就让我想到了“洛丽塔”。未经雕刻，
天然纯洁，爱上她，能够有一万个理由。塞舌尔 极乐岛，仙境一般的私家岛屿。岛上的六善度假村藏匿在茂盛的林间。江南园林式的矮墙，木瓦片的房顶，
木板大阳台会漏下斑斓的阳光大概是在太阳和雨露的润泽中有了灵性，风吹过的时分，好像能听到穿过年月韶光 的吟呢低语。在充溢幼年回想的秋千上摇
晃双脚，心都跟着荡了起来。难怪热巴狡猾地说：“我本年16 岁~”翻开落地窗，跨出两步，是无边的私家泳池。一杯咖啡，一本书，一个完美的海岛下午。
窝在山顶 的沙发里，不远处是噼啪着的篝火。一口香槟，就着落日喝下。酒酣之余，鱼和虾啊，滋味就更鲜美了。泳池底部 的小灯光映出水面，如繁星落

巢，鸡归笼，人团聚，正是 此意。众多环绕着极乐岛的小岛，更有着少女娇嗔放纵的魅力。普拉兰岛的五月谷，充溢着奥秘色彩。阳光如一缕 烟雾飘扬在
林间，巨大的榕树根扎进土壤，延绵成林。这儿成长着塞舌尔的国宝——海椰子，入境时当地 海关会在你的护照盖上这个胖胖的“屁股”印章，就是它。
海椰子被惯出了塞舌尔的慵懒性质，终身过得 漫长而简略。它们不被埋在土里，芽和根从种子的背面偷偷伸出来，几年或几十年，良久没动静的也不在少
数。但是，哪棵树又应该为了满意人们的等待而加快成长呢？私心里觉得，拉齐奥海滩比德阿让海滩更松懈。琉 璃色的海水，轻抚着漫长的海岸，在椰树
的影子中潮起潮落，悠然祥和。操练平衡冲浪的美人，有着生机 十足的小麦色皮肤，和一双性感的大长腿。浑身散发着不羁的气味，性感的要命。不远处，
两个调皮的黑 人小孩正在逐浪戏水。沁凉的水滴溅到脸上，不由得也想坐上船，潜入那蓝色秘境。来这儿浮潜但是正经事，彩色 的珊瑚群，艳丽灵动的热
带鱼。巨大的海龟从头顶掠过，可真是幸事。每年的8月到10月，还可能会遇 到成群的鲸鲨，落日的余晖，将细腻的皎白幻化成迷人的玫瑰红，甜美的新
婚夫妇正赤着双脚沿着海滩缓 缓而行。恋人惬意地坐在小船上，听着浪涛，喝着啤酒，留恋得让人艳羡。德阿让海滩肯定是世界上最美的海滩之 一，矗立
在沙滩上的巨大腐蚀花岗石柱，就像雕刻家亨利·摩尔白日梦里的情形。骑上自行车沿着海岸瞭 望，藤蔓和灌木野蛮成长，椰林遍及。不时从天空略过飞
鸟，一副不曾被人插手过的野容貌。累了就躺在 沙滩上，选一本自己喜欢的小说，消磨午后的惬意韶光。这儿没有太阳伞和躺椅，白沙好像过筛面粉般细
软，岩石有着美妙的肌理和质感。水晶蓝色的海水脆而薄，波澜中有着阳光破碎时纤细动静。不远处，几个大石头 俄然动了起来，竟是久居海岛的象龟。
它们在此度过了漫长的韶光，应是见证过，伊甸曾经，兽迹之间， 人们不曾见过的容貌。船停在马埃岛的维多利亚港，安静柔美，油画般的小城，就是塞
舌尔的首都了。这 儿小得半个小时左右就能转个遍。却是移步换景，让人眼花缭乱。街边的建筑物大都是些带有花园的两层小楼，装 潢和格式流露出浓郁
的殖民色彩。商场里，有当地特征的面包果。倒数第三家卖的黑胡椒、咖喱、肉桂都 很纯粹，香料散发着撩拨的滋味。洋气侯真是难以捉摸，局部地区有
雨就真的很局部，云飘到哪，雨下到 哪乌云密布的时分，火红的光会穿过云层，然后慢慢地翻开一个缺口。天堂的穹空被烧成烈火的色彩，如先知的十 四
行诗，但仍是天堂。找一个餐厅避避雨。吃的一上桌，鸟儿也不客气的跳上来。它们大模大样地，对呼 叱声毫不假以色彩。，拿出美酒饭菜款待他。渔人停
留了几天，告辞离开。这里面的人告诉他说：“这里 的情况不必向外面的人说啊。”渔人出来后，迫不及待地找到他的船，便沿着来时的路返回，一路上到
处 做了标记。渔人回到武陵郡城，恭敬地去拜见太守，并将这些情况和盘托出。太守立即派人跟随他前往，寻找之前 所留下的标记，最终也还是迷失了方
向，而不能再次找到通往桃花源的路了。
