university.
My hometown is Xingtai of Hebei province,and i have a lot of
feelings about this beautiful y, Xingtai lies in the center and
south of Hebei province,which is regarded as one of the most important
energy base in the north of China,because It has the largest thermal
power plant in southern North ly, my hometown has a very
long and meaningful history,which leaves lots of rich cultural

are many kinds of tasty foods in my hometown,such as fried
dumplings ,Roast Chickens and so i love this city and i believe that

engineering of People's Liberation Army in the first my

university is famous of the major of Civil engineering, transportation,
machinery, especially the gh my college is not very large,it
has a lot of trees and beautiful flowers,most importantly,it has a very
strict teaching system,so every student studies very hard.I think it’s a

capital of six dynasties undoubtedly, nanjing has one of the longest
history in China,for example The Yat-sen's Mausoleum(中山陵），

The Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum（明孝陵），The Confucius Temple（夫
子庙）and The Qinhuai River .They are all very famous in the country
even in over the from that, nanjing has many delicious
food ,such as the Eight Unique of Qinhuai(秦淮八绝）,they are very
popular in this in all ,the nanjing city is a very suitable place for
people to live in an i also hope to live in this ’s all, Thank you!

If it is sunny---
Today is a brilliant day ,look at the sunshine out of the windows,it
gives us a lot of warm and hope. In this beautiful day ,we can run in the
sports field ,play football or basketball,exercise myself fully,so l love the
sunny i said before ,it brings us hope and warm,so i will have a
good mood.
If it is rainy---
Unfortunately, today is a rainy most people hate
rainy,but i also like the e,in this weather,it is very
inconvenient to relax outside,so ,it gives me a chance to think quietly
about my study or my sunshine and rain bring us hope and
life,because of the rain,we have enough water to drink and the grains
,i think we should treat the weather reasonably,and keep a
good mood anytime.

Topic7. 你怎么看待堵车？

Actually,the traffic jam has become more and more serious in the
current society,especially in the major city,such as
beijing ,shanghai ,guangzhou ,nanjing, wuhan, and so on .As you know,
the majority of population live or work in these cities,as a result,these
cities need more schools,hospitals,residential ,there are always
more roads to mend, more buildings ,bridges ,tunnels to construct,which
will definitely have a bad effects on the uently,if you are
determined to work in these cities,you should be prepared to adapt to
the traffic jam and endure bad you are confronted
with this situation,you should remind a good attitude,listening to music
or read books in your car.

Honestly,i have a very good friend,his name is XXX,and because of
him,i study very hard to have this opportunity in the met in
the shijiazhuang railway university,and understood each other during the
graduation project,because we are assigned to the same
that time,i find he is very funny and he can always lead us to a very good
direction,just like a that ,he is very hard-working and
always loves to take ,i think he is my best friend,and i

The most unforgettable thing in university
Actually,i have done a lot of things that i am proud of,however,
there is one thing that i will never forget.I always remember that when i
was a freshman in the college,we had to accept military training for
about a e i was tall and strong,and i trained very
instructors appointed me as the pacesetter,so in those days ,i trained
even hard,and disciplined myself the day of rehearsal,our class
eventually got a very good result,and I got the title of best
pacesetter,everyone gave me a very high appreciation.

Why you choose Hohai University(plan)
As we all know Hohai University is very famous for its Water
conservation and Geotechnical e it has an excellent
academic atmosphere and advanced laboratory equipment for
major is civil Engineering and it has a close contact with
Geotechnical Engineering,so i choose Hohai University to further my
future study and improve myself.
If i am very lucky to be admitted,i will lay a solid foundation in the
first year and get a high mark of every the second year, i
will try my best to learn professional knowledge and acquire the keys of
how to operate software about this , i hope i will find a
satisfying work.

The plan after graduation
I hope i can work at a design institute related with my major,and i
will make a request to work overtime,even go on e as a
new recruit , I should work harder, do more jobs and gain more
addition, i should obtain Associate Constructor(二建） and
Constructor （一建）qualification certificate，and my final goal is to
obtain the registered geotechnical engineer's qualification certificate(注
岩）。So, i have to keep on working very hard in the future,and
accomplish my goals one by one.

Why choose to take part in the postgraduate
entrance exam
The employment situation is not very optimistic in the current
days,in this case, having a bachelor's degree is not enough and has no
competition force,so i choose to take part in the postgraduate entrance
exam,and improve my ly, i have worked for about 3
years in Engineering Bureau,and I deeply felt the shortage of my
,i hope to get a Master's degree and learn more
knowledge.

The teacher of the Soil Mechanics
The teacher of the Soil Mechanics in college is XXX,he is also my
graduation has a very unique way of teaching the Soil
Mechanics .Most students think that this course is hard and boring,but

Mr.X always teaches his students by telling us the problems that he
encountered in practical engineering,and he explained to us how to
solve the problem with the textbook this way ,our class
had a very active attitude to this course and all have good marks in the
end.

My college is called the Shijiazhuang railway university or
Shijiazhuang Tiedao University,and the president of Civil Engineering is
Professor was elected as academician of Academy of Engineering
in 2013,and everyone in my college is proud of him, because it is very
hard to become a academician,especially in the area of Civil Engineering.
He is a very good at teaching and never feel tired when he explains
a solution to his life ,he is very thrifty and has a good attitude to
his always says “hardworking is the best way to success.’and
now he did it ,so i think he is the example worth learning in my life.

After learning the Soil Mechanics,i have acquired the principle of
effective stress,Layerwise summation method(分层总合法）and i know
how to tell the active earth pressure from the passive earth pressure.
I had done Dry density experiment,Compaction test,Consolidation
test,Shear test and so on .

subject,which is a branch of civil ’s a subject that applicates
engineering geology, soil mechanics and rock mechanics to solve various
engineering problems on soil and rock.
Most importantly,all the achievements coming from this subject are
based on experiments,and the experiments include situ test and
laboratory test in general.
