Good afternoon! The topic of my speech today is “The Power of
Belief”
There is a strength that can contribute to make the person keep
groping in the dark, go on fighting in the failure and never forget
pursuing even in the setback. In the front of it, the biggest difficulty will
turn out to be insignificant; boundless hardships and dangers be so
ordinary. Consequently, it is the power that we called it faith.
“A man without principles equals to a good-for-naught; a man without
beliefs is practically the same as a void trash.” Once said by Russian
Repin. Let me start from our ancient, over two thousands years ago, Si
Maqian, a well-known historiographer of Han dynasty, was imprisoned
by the cause of “the Li Ling Event” and ended up with castration. Frankly
speaking, nothing would be more humiliating than that in the world. By
contrast, eating humble pie and being loyal and faithful, he devoted
himself to accomplishing the monumental masterpiece The Historical
Records for exact eleven years with 5200000 characters. It’s hard to
imagine how tremendous perseveres he demanded. Supposed that he
wasn’t dedicated to his belief” to compile all the history”, he would have
been died by killing himself as early as possible. This is the magical
power of belief.
Then, let’s say something in recent period. For example, our dear

premier Zhou Enlai, he is truly entitled to devote all his life to his belief
of communism. Near the end of his life, he still asked staff around him to
play The Internationale for him. After the house brimming with majestic
melody, the premier was singing along with the rhythms by means of
trembling his feeble lips. Three times later, he said to Deng Yingchao: “I
strong believe that the communism would be realized one day in the
future”. Although the voice is sort of faint, the effects on the surrounded
people are much more profound. At the last moment of his life, he sang
the song finally to represent his adamantine beliefs. Each of us may have
different beliefs in our life. However, if he can abandon himself to his
own belief with eagerness and intensity, even his enemy would be filled
with deep esteem for his unique personality.
Since we have talked about relevant examples from ancient to
today, now let’s talk some ordinary figures around us. The first person
came into my mind is an engineer of our company. As a member of the
electrical appliance manufacturing industry, he was like a shining star that
shines among all the luminous stars in this industry. His name is LiFei.
Over the past ten years, he has worked as Data Processor, Quality Officer
and Project Manager. He was cautious and conscientious no matter what
kind of the job he did. It is his faith that he longs to accomplish the job as
perfect as possible. Taking the project of Italy as an example, it is one of
the most profitable international bidding projects in those years

characterized with high difficulty of product design, high quality
requirements,

tight schedule and heavy pressure. After several rounds
struggle with International top 500 enterprises, our company obtained that
project by the efforts of LiFei. As the project manger, he meticulously
organized personnel and reasonably arranged processes. At work, he put
quality at the first place and was strictly

in accordance with the
requirements of customers. What’s more, he repeatedly helped the staff
with arrangements to make everyone know what he should do. When the
project came into operation, he stayed at company round the clock. To
our amazement, he returns home at 10, 11 even 12 o’clock, turning into
“Going Home Late at Night” in reality as well in name. The project
manager was so dedicated that made the team members respectable to
him and injected one hundred times work enthusiasm to express fervent
admiration for him. Eventually, the project was smoothly passed through
the user demanding quality acceptance, earning more than 200 million
Yuan of sales orders for the company, even blowing the trumpet of the
internationalization for ZhengTai brand
My dear friends, can you feel the power of belief after listening
those vivacious examples? Of course, we, people in the 21
st
century
should have much higher goals, more glorious ideals and more firm
beliefs than our predecessors’.

We should do as they do and fulfill the era
mission entrusted by our predecessors for the purpose of shouldering the

future of our national industry. History is long while life is short.
Therefore, my friends please stick to the firm faith mast, and you will sail
your own ideal boat smoothly. In order to the revitalization of the
enterprise development and the country's prosperity, we should plough
through the winds and waves,

pressing forward with indomitable will.
