1. 辨析 attendjoinjoin intake part in
① attend 出席、参加某活动,强调不起作用。主要指参加会议、演讲 等。
② join 指参加团体或组织并成为一员。
③ join in 指参加活动。
④ take part in 参加活动,并起到积极作用。
2. A 组:
① Hearing the bad news , they could not help crying.
② The boy ran away , shouting loudly.
③ Being poor , he could not go to school.
B 组:
① Written in a hurry , this article was not so good.
② Given another hour , I can also work out this problem.
③ Seen from the top of the hill , the city looks more beautiful to us.
A 组:主动
1. v. 位于句首;
2. 主语被省略(和另一句主语相同
3. 全部为逗号隔开。
B 组:被动

总结:现在分词做状语与句子的主语存在主动关系;过去分词和主语存 在被动关
系。表时间、原因、伴随、方式和结果。

4. I don’ t think I will…
don’ t think是否定转移, not 实际上否定宾语从句的谓语。
e.g. I don’ t think it is a good idea.
否定前移的用法:
(1 在 I thinksupposebelieveimagineexcept等 +that从句结构中, 后接否定内容
的宾语从句时, 从句中的否定常转移到主句的谓 语动词上来, 称为否定转移。 译成
汉语时, 仍将宾语从句译成 否定意义。
注意:主句主语必须是第一人称(Iwe ,主句谓语动词是
以上五个词之一。否则不用否定转移。
(2 当主语是第一人称, 陈述句部分是以上五词之一, 并跟宾语从 句时, 变成反义
疑问句, 疑问句部分应与从句中的主语和谓语 相对应,且用肯定形式。

e.g. I don’ t think is it a good idea , is it?
I don’ t suppose I could have a look at your newspaper , could I?
I don’ t believe there is a ghost , is there.
(3 否定转移句型的答语
肯定式:I thinksupposebelieveexcept so
否定式:I don’t thinksupposebelieveexcept so
或 I thinksupposebelieveexcept so
注意 :hopeguessbe afraid只能用 I hopeguessafraid so(not
而不能用 I don’t guess soI don ’ t hope soI am not afraid so
e.g.-Do you think it is going to rain?
-I hope not.
5. as … as … 和??一样
否定时 ” not soas… as …” 其中与名词连用时,要用:
as+adj+a(an+可数名词 +as…
as+adj.+不可数名词 复数名词 +as…

倍数表示法:

(3 A+is+… times+the sizelengthwidthheightdepth+of+B
e.g.1 亚洲是欧洲的四倍大。
(1 Asia is four times larger than Europe.
(2 Asia is four times as larger as Europe.
(3 Asia is four times the size of Europe.
e.g.2The factory produced twice as many cars in 2005 as the year before.

that 在此为代词,代替前面的 ” method of teaching”

辨析:thatonethe one和 it
that 既可代替单数可数名词,也可以代替不可数名词,相当于 the one,其复数为
those.
one 代替单数名词,表 泛指 ,其复数为 ones.
the one 代替单数名词,表 特指 ,往往有后置定语修饰,其复 数为 the ones.
it 代替单数名词,与前面提到的名词为同一对象,其复数为 theythem
e.g.1-Can I help you?
-I ’ d like to buy a present for my mother ’ s birthday , at the proper price but of
great value.
e.g.2-Why don’ t we take a break?
-Didn ’
e.g.3-Do you want the bike?
8. Would you mind ansering the questions for me?
Would you mind+doing sth.
