vocabulary是什么意思due-to和owing-to

due to 只能做表语, 不能用于句首,是
正式用语;
owing to 也可以作表语,但可以和
because of一样, 用于句首作状语.
The delay was due to /owing to
power failure.
Owing to the weather, the outing
was delayed.
due to“由于，因…造成”，引导的短语< br>在句中除可作状语（此时不用于句首）
外，也可作表语或定语。有些讲英语的
人仅将 due to 用于动词be之后作表
语，但目前普遍认为可将due to看作是
owing to的同义词。
