1、Beauty
Beauty usually refers to what appeals to the eye. A nice and well built
girl is regarded as beautiful. A bunch of vigorous flowers are also
considered as beautiful. A splendid waterfall coming down from a mountain
is as well looked on as beautiful.
Beauty also refers to what appeals to the mind. The virtue of the Chinese
nation- industry and bravery are taken as beautiful, because it helped to
produce such a magnificent culture in the world. Einstein's theory of
relativity is also perceived as beautiful, for it explains many natural
phenomena so perfectly.
Beauty is around us. If you keep an eye or pay some attention, it is never
difficult to find something beautiful somewhere about you. Wonderful
natural spots, historical relics,fine arts, splendid buildings, and kind
people are just a few inches away.
2、Beauty
Everyone is attracted by beauty and beauty is powerful. But what is true
beauty? Perhaps you can get the answer from the following story.
This morning I went to the market to buy some vegetables with my parents.
On the way we all highly praised a young man in western-style clothes and
leather shoes who was riding by. But he rode so fast that he knocked an
old lady down d of stopping, he pretended not to see this
and rode away quickly. We were all very angry with the young man. To our
happiness, a girl in plain dress ran forward at once, helped the lady up
and took her home. We all praised the girl.
From this we know we cannot judge a person by his appearance. A person
who is dressed beautifully may not have a beautiful soul. Only a person
who has a beautiful soul is really beautiful.

Youth

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind it is not rosy cheeks ,
red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the
freshness it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the
appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a
man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of
years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul .
Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back
to dust .

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of
wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of
the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s
a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer,
courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of
cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 ,
but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there
is hope you may die young at 80.

年方20.其实你已垂垂老也。而只要你青春的天线高高耸起，就可以随时接收到

As we all know, communication is one of the most essential social skills
that we need for our self development. Communicating with all
understanding always contributes to a deep touch between peoples' heart.
Today, I am going to talk about how to communicate with classmates.
To start with, you need to realize that your classmates are just in the
same age of you. So be relaxed and nature. You are not too much smarter
or outstanding than others and either are they! When you talk with them,
remember to mention somMy favorite book is (Italian: Cuore). This
is a diary written by an Italian boy Enrico. The diary is about his life
and study. It included various touching stories that happened around
Enrico, the mottos taught by his parents, as well as the wonderful ten
stories told by his teacher during the class. Every word in the
chapter describes the word From patriotism to friendship, and to
the love between parents and child -- really touching.
This novel taught me how to love, and how to learn from love. I really
like this book very much. How about you? What is your favorite book?
My favorite book is . Have you read it before?
Oh, I haven't read this book before. What is it about?
Well, it is a story of a rich girl who maintained her noble character after
the bankruptcy of her father. The story is happy ending.
Can you tell us why you love this book so much?
Sure. It is because the story taught us to be brave and to face the
challenges and difficulties with courage. I am deeply impressed by the
strength and perseverance of the little princess in the story. I have
decided to learn from her from now on.
Oh I see, the story sounds very good. I cannot wait to read this book as
well.


Gettysburg Address

Four score and seven years ago, our fathers brought forth on this continent
a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that
all men are created equal. Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing
whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long
endure.

We are met on a great battlefield of that war. We have come to dedicate
a portion of the field as a final resting-place for those who here gave
their lives that the nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper
that we should do this. But in a larger sense we cannot dedicate, we cannot
consecrate, we cannot hallow this ground.
The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it
far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note,
nor long remember, what we say here, but it can never forget what they
did here.
It is for us, the living, rather to be dedicated here to the unfinished

New year passes, winter vacation immediately had to finish. We will stride
in the new semester by the new mental outlook. The new semester, is our
elementary school stage last semester. In this semester, I take hundred
foot bamboo pole heads, the further.
First, attends class, I must listen earnestly, does not make the petty

In brief, in the new semester I must even more diligently, strive for each
schoolwork all to obtain the result, when a various aspects all very
outstanding student.

will become real friends with mutual understanding.
The last but also most important, I suggest you to be patient to hear other.
They may complain something which you believe is unreasonable or they may
abuse someone you actually like. When it goes that way, never argue with
them. Listen to their opinion and state your viewpoint later softly. And
remember it will make people, even the very nice ones; feel more or less
uncomfortable if you say that they are wrong directly.


House by Limpid water
How I wish to live a house surrounded by limpid water! From the windows
of the house you could see the clear water flowing by. And the fresh smell
of the water could make you forget a day’s hard work and feel vigorous
again. And the limpid water could bring us green trees, pleasant grass
and colorful flowers. Yes, it is like a beautiful drawing. Yes, it is my
good dream!
Can this dream come true?

A few years ago, the suZhou river was polluted. But now, with the help
of city governments, it becomes clean. So we should save and protect the
water.
I do believe ‘house by limpid water’ will come true. In Shanghai the
water will become more limpid, the sky more blue, the air more fresh, and
the people more healthy. We are sure to have a better city and a better
life tomorrow! Let’s study hard and work hard, and wait to enjoy ‘house
by limpid water’!

A serious problem has arisen in recent several years that more and more
college students abandon study because of their taking part-time jobs,
so quite a few people are opposed to part-time jobs. However, taking
part-time jobs has at least three benefits for college studens in my eyes.
First, students can promote their study through part-time jobs. For
instance, If a law student finds a part-time job in a law firm, his practice
will enable him to better understand what he's learned from books. What's
more, the part-time job can offer him opportunities to go beyond what he's
been taught in class, and he'll learn something that doesn't exist in books
but in practice.
Second, students can also accumulate work experiences through part-time
jobs, which will benefit their future job- hunting. Actually, part-time
jobs act as warm- up exercises for students to take full-time jobs after
they graduate, and help them prepare for their future careers. In addition,
as fresh blood in the society, graduated students are often unfavored in
job-hunting markets for lack of practical work experiences. It's easier
to find jobs for those who have accumulated experiences in part-time jobs.
Last but not the least, part-time jobs can partly relieve students'
financial burden, especially those who are from poor families. College
tution fees have greatly increased in the past ten years due to the new
educational policy. Many students from poor families cannot afford
college fees, and our bank system fail to loan college students as
effectively as it does in developed countries, so taking part-time jobs
becomes a way for them to meet their great expenses in campus lives.
It's an undenied fact that students break the balance between their jobs
and studies, especially when they fall into conflict with each other. But
I think students should spend their spare time taking part-time jobs. Only
following this principle can they benefit from their part-time jobs.
