一、考试情况简介
1．此项考试分为笔试和口试两种测
试。笔 试有A级和B级两个级别。从
1998年开始举行笔试的全国统一考试。
全国统一题目、同一时 间考试; 全国统
一标准，各省分别批卷。 每年在6月份
和12月份进行两次考试。通过者由 全国
高职高专英语课程考试委员会颁发证
书。

2．从2004年4月开始 举行单独的
口语考试。一般要求通过笔试A级的学
生可以参加口试。

3． 笔试试题的特点：从内容上看，
强调英语的应用性，例如：个人简历、
求学信、求职信、英语广 告、产品说明
书、商业信函、产品推销、厂家介绍、
合同书、招标书、协议、前言、目录，等等。从形式上看，55%是主观试题，
多项选择题只占45%。
4．几年来全国平均通过率在60%
左右。


二、如何备考
1．准备的材料：
1）《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要
求》（高等教育出版社）
2）《英语应用能力考试A级试题》练
习册1-2本

2．应做的准备：
1）每周至少做一套模拟题。
2）每周写一篇作文。
3）每天至少听半小时的英语。
4）考试前背10篇左右的范文。
三、A级题型及做题技巧
I．Listening Comprehension (15%)
1．题型
Section A
Multiple choice according to dialogues.
(5%)
常规题型。

Section B (5%)
Dialogue 1
Dialogue 2
每段对话有10句话左右，多数为实用性
的。例如：电话约会 、师生谈论学习、
宾馆住宿、商品定购、贸易洽谈，等等。
每个对话后有2 – 3个单选题。

Section C (5%)
Answer questions briefly.
1段100词左右的短文，用单词或短语
简略回答问题。每题答案不能超过3个
词。

2．做题技巧：
1）充分利用时间，进行考前的扫视与预
测。
2）思维与录音带同步。
3）精力集中，精神放松，保持良好的心
理状态。
4）注意英、美发音的区别

II. Vocabulary and Structure (15%)
Section A (5%)
10道语法。

考试内容：
A．常用词组：介词、名词、动词、形
容词等固定搭配。
e.g. in general, make a face, put up

B. 名词的单、复数
e.g. news people class
equipment information
one hundred dollars
fifty percent of peoplewater

C. 词性和词意
e.g. hardly friendly seldom

D. 时态的一致

E. 语态的选择

G. 常用的时态和结构：
a. 现在完成时 b. 过去完成时

k. 比较级的结构

做题技巧：
1）不可为某一小题浪费时间，遇有不认
识的单词，要采用排除法；
2）将选择的项目放在句中读一遍，靠
语感来判断正误。

Section B (10%)
用所给的词填空，语法题6道, 词汇题4
道。

e.g. In some ways these schools are (differ)

做题技巧：
1．先将全句读懂 ，判断所填的词在
句子中的句子成分。如果作谓语，就是
语法题，要考虑其时态、语态等，同时
要注意时态的一致；若句子中有谓语，
就是词汇题，要考虑该词所作的成分及
词义，确 定所填词的词性。
2．此题的答案是唯一的，错一个字
母就不得分。
3．平时学习要注意构词法，掌握大
纲中所要求的常用的构词前缀和后缀。
前缀：agree – disagree
relevant – irrelevant
existence – nonexistence
important – unimportant
understand – misunderstand
write – rewrite

后缀：eat – eatable
practice – practical
attendant – attendance
educate – education
drive –driver
operate – operator
home homeless
beauty – beautiful
child –childhood
fool – foolish

difficult – difficulty

Part III Reading Comprehension
(35%)
共有5篇阅读文章。
1．第1和第2个阅读题型是多项选择题，
每题2分，计20分。
2．第3个阅读是 写出文章的大纲，属于
信息转换类型。共5道题，每题1
分。用单词或短语回答此题，每题答案不能超过3个单词。
3．第4个阅读是匹配题，文章中给出英
语短语，多数是实用方 面的内容。例
如：机器操作指令、产品说明、某行
业的专用术语、学校开课的名称、体
育运动的名称，等等。在答案中给出
汉语，只需考生填上相应的英语字母
即可。此题一般有10 个空，每空0.5
分，共5分。
4．第5个阅读是简答题。5个问题，每
题1分。答 此题的关键是简要、明确，
每题的回答不超出3个单词。

you want to remember, like the birthdays

Part IV Translation – from English into
Chinese (20%)
翻译试题分为2个部分。第1部分是4
个句子翻译，以 多项选择的形式出题。
每个选择都有相应的分数, 分为2分、1
分、0.5分和0分，总计8分。每个选项
的汉语句子都符合逻辑，

做题技巧：
因为每个选项的汉语句子都符合逻
辑，所以，必须要
1．首先阅读和理解英语句子里的每
个单词和短语。
2．找出英语句子中的关键词语。
3．明确英语句子的结构。


第2部分是段落翻译，实用型的短文。
有4 – 5句话，计12分。

做题技巧：
1．根据上、下文去理解句意。不能字对
字、词对词地翻译。
2．译完之后，自己通读一遍，检查是否
通顺、是否符合逻辑。
3．按汉语习惯去翻 译：1）被动译成主
动；2）状语放在句首；3）代词译成
名词；4）可适当增词或减词；5） 词
性可以转换。

Part V Writing （15%）
1． 评分原则：采用总体评分方法，阅
卷人员就总的印象给出奖励分，而不
是按语言的错误数目扣分 。从内容和
语言两个方面对作文进行综合评判。

2．评分标准：（分为5个分数段）
A．2分 – 条理不清，语言支离破碎或
大部分句子均有错误，且多数为严
重错误。
B．5分 – 基本切题，表达思想不清
楚，连贯性差，有较多的严重语言
错误。
C．8分 – 基 本切题，有些地方表达思
想不够清楚，文字勉强连贯，语言
错误相当多，其中有一些是严重错< br>误。
D．11分 – 切题，表达思想清楚，文
字连贯，但有少量语言错误
E．14分 – 切题，表达思想清楚，文
字通顺，连贯性较好，基本上无语言
错误，仅有个别小错。

3．应注意的问题：
A．要卷面工整、字迹清楚。
B．宁可字数多，不可字数少。
C．不求高、难句型和词汇，只求句子
通顺、意思完整。

“街上有很多汽车”的几种说法：

C. 写作时要使用过渡词和短语：
1）表示连接、转折、特殊说明、强调，
等等

2）表示顺序

D．如果想得高分，句子结构要复杂一< br>些，定语可用分词短语或定语从
句；多用状语从句、固定短语，
等结构。

listening to radio.
c. We went to the factory for practice and
we learnt a lot from the workers there.

E. 用不同的词表示相同的意思：

5．A级写作目的和内容
主要检查学生的英语实用写作能
力。根据考试大纲，写作的内容有：
1）日常题材的短文
2）填写个人资料表单
3）填写业务表单
4）名片、贺卡、通知等
5）便条、邀请函及回函
6）个人简历
7）简短私人信函
8）简短业务信函
9）简短传真和电子邮件
10）简短广告
11）简短产品与厂家介绍
12）简短产品维护及使用说明
13）合同
写作要求用汉语提示，因而，在一
定程度上，这种写作也是一种翻译过程 。
在平时的训练中，要多记一些各种体裁
的写作格式和固定套话。
