As is shown in the picture, a modern person sits in front of computer nearly
all day, and even dreams of playing computer in the evening. The phenomenon
is common because computer plays an indispensable part in our daily life. We
have been so addicted to the fantastic invention that we can barely survive
without using them. Simple as the picture is , what it conveys to us is
thought-provoking.
It is true that computer has shaped the way we study, work and live.
However, despite the ease and conveniences computers have brought us, there
is also the negative influence behind it. Firstly/to begin with,using computer for
long hours means sitting in the same position which leads to poor blood
circulation and other syndromes. What is more/besides/moreover, a prolonged
usage of computers means less participation in real life activities, which exerts
an undesirable influence on the social development of the individual. Without
the access to outer world, a man mostly remains to , he will become nothing
but a lifeless machine.
To sum up, computers may create wonders and help men to achieve
success. Nevertheless, we should pay more attention to their harms for both
human physical health and social development. To solve the problem that we
become more and more dependent on this machine，the individual should try
their best to reduce the time spent in playing computer at home and turn to
other leisure ways, such as doing exercises and talking to their friends face to
face. Only in this way, can we get more benefit than loss from this modern
machine.
