二、课程定位与课程设计
(一)课程性质与作用
1、课程性质与作用
英语口语课是是以英语语言知识与应用 技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,以外语教学理论为指导,并集多种教学模式和
教学手段为一体 的教学体系。
课程通过大量的口语练习和实践,逐步培养和提高学生用英语进行口头交际的能力,同时 帮助学生了解主要英语国家的文化背景
和生活习俗。课程不仅注重语言运用能力的培养,而且重视培养学 生的跨文化交际能力。通过本课程的学习,学生应能就日常生活中
的一般情景进行恰当的交谈;能就社会 生活中的一般话题进行连贯的发言;能比较准确地表达思想,做到语音、语调、语法正确,语

言运用恰当得体。
(二)、与前后课程的联系
1.与前续课程的联系
《英语口语》课程的前序课程为初高中英语课,掌握2000-300 0个常用单词,熟练使用其中的1800个单词。本课程通过理实一体
课课内教学和课外学生自主学习相 结合,以训练学生的口语交流技能和培养学生基本的口头表达能力为主要目标,同时与旅游英语的
其它专 业课程一起构成学生的专业知识结构,为学生的专业发展奠定英语口语基础。

(三)课程设计的理念与思路
1.课程基本理念
《英语口语》课程遵循高职教育规律,以社会需求为导向,以应用为目的, 以实践为核心,以知识为主线,以职业为背景,设计
整个课程的教学过程。将基础语言交流项目和职业模 拟项目贯穿其中,进行语言能力与职业能力的无缝对接,以实现知识传授、技能
培养、职业能力的一体化 ,最终实现提高职业能力素养的目标。
2.课程设计思路
《英语口语》课程是从应用型高职 英语教育自身的特点入手,在教学活动中充分体现出口语课教学的现代性,通过轻松幽默的课
堂氛围和多 种有趣的课堂活动,激发学生说英语的兴趣和勇气,培养学生口语表达能力,使他们能在今后的学习和工作中用英 语有效
进行口头的信息交流,较为有效地实现跨文化交际,同时增强其自主学习能力、提高综合文化素养 ,同时通过专项口语内容训练,规
范英语课堂的口语表达用语,为今后学生走上工作岗位打下扎实基础。
三、课程目标
(一)知识目标
1.一般要求:能在学习过程中用英语交流,并能就 某一主题进行讨论。能就日常话题和来自讲英语国家的人士进行交谈。能就所
熟悉的话题经准备后作简短 发言,表达比较清楚,语音、语调基本正确。能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略。能尝试用英语组织模拟课
堂教学。
2.较高要求:能够和来自英语国家的人士进行比较流利的会话,较好地掌握会话策略,能基 本表达个人意见、情感、观点等,能
基本陈述事实、事件、理由等,表达思想清楚,语音、语调基本正确 。能用准确而流利的英文组织模拟课堂教学。

3.更高要求:能就一般或专业性的话题较为流利、准确地进行对话或讨论,能用简练的语言概括较长、语言稍 难的文本或讲话。


(二)职业技能目标
培养学生的口语表达能力,能 够有效进行口头的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力,以及对外交往等交际能力。

(三)职业素质养成目标
1.培养学生谦虚、好学的能力;
2.培养学生勤于思考、做事认真的良好作风;
3.培养学生的沟通能力及团队协作精神;
4.培养学生分析问题、解决问题的能力;
5.培养学生勇于创新、专注目标的办事精神。

四、整体教学设计
(一)教学内容与学时分配
英语口语课总共为30个 学时,总的课程目标是让学生有正确的英语发音,在语音语调方面改正突破原有的英语发音方法,所以本
课程主要分为两部分来完成:第一部分十个学时,为理论课,通过老师讲解英语语音语调知识结合学生练习消化吸 收,侧重学生正确
语音语调的养成;第二部分二十个学时,为实践课,是通过日常生活不同场景中的对话 练习及组织对话来巩固学生的语音语调,使学

生养成良好的用英语进行口语表达的基本素养。
