1)How can you learn English well?
1. First, you should persevere. It’s true that English is sometimes really very difficult for us. But
if you have a good method of learning, I think you will be good at it. Both English listening and speaking
are the most difficult for almost every beginner. Sometimes, it seems impossible to learn. But I think
if you do a lot of practice, you will make progress, you should speak more and listen more often. You’d
better speak English with your classmates as often as possible not only in class but also out of class.
I advise you to buy a radio, so you can listen to some English programmes over the radio. Then you
will travel in the world of you do that, you’ll be able to learn English well easily, and
you’ll like English very much.I hope all of you will become good at English step by step.
2. Time is important to everyone. Lost time will never come back. We must keep this in mind in our
daily life and make the best use of our time. Only in this way can we succeed in life.
How can we make full use of our time? First of all, we'd better make a plan. We should arrange our
study, work and rest….
3. How to Learn English Well English is one of the most important subjects in middle school. Almost
everyone knows that we should learn English well, but few of us know how to learn it well. Karl Marx
has set a good example for us. He once said,

When we learn English, we should read more, speak more, listen to English from time to time and practise

How to Improve Your Reading
A. Intensive Reading: When we read the intensive articles, we should make notes of the new words and
phrases and good sentences. After reading them, we may ask ourselves some questions about them by using
such words: Who, What, Why, When and try to answer them in our own words. 精读：在精读课
文时，我们要把生词 、词组、句型做成笔记.读后要试着用这些疑问词提问自己：谁、什么、何时、何地且努力用
自己的话来 回答。B. Extensive reading: We must train our ability to scan, skip and read fast. Namely,

How to Improve Your Listening
A. We may improve our aural ability by speaking English in the native and idiomatic way. The pronunciation,
intonation and sentence structure should not be in Chinese style.可以通过讲地道的口语来提高听力、语
音、语调，句子结构 请不要中国化。当然这样作有点难。B. Keeping a relaxed, natural and steady mood when
listening to some materials. Namely, to establish self-confidence and to develop excellent psychological
quality is essential in the improvement of aural ability.在作听力 练习时，力求保持放松，自然和稳定的
心态，即建立自信心和培养良好的心理素质在听力提高中致关重要 。C. We may make some simple notes while
listening, for examples, the names of people and places, time, age, distance, occupation, figures and
