October 1st this year is the 70th birthday of our motherland. So
we relaxed in our busy study. Making use of this short and long
seven days, my mother and I went to Chenghuang Temple to play.
一走进古色古香的大门，我就已经被 那里的风景吸引住了。
看那么多人聚集在一起看什么呢?我走近一瞧，原来是一批民间
艺术家正 在大显身手露出自家的绝活。木雕师傅手操小刀在木块
上这里一划那里一刻，一个栩栩如生的人头像就做 好了。米上刻
字更让人惊叹，刻字的师傅拿着小刻刀在米上移来移去，不一会
儿就成了一件特别 的工艺品。画像也是一门独特的技术，画师可
以把人的神态与脸部画得准确，有时还可以抽象一些。
As soon as I entered the antique gate, I was attracted by the
scenery there. Look what so many people are gathering to see? I
came closer to see that a group of folk artists are showing off their
unique life. The woodcarver handled a knife and scratched it here
and there for a moment. A vivid portrait of a man was made. The
inscription on rice is even more amazing. The inscriber moves
