Situation 情景：
It is the first time that Jones has been to China. She wants to exchange her US d
ollars for Chinese money. However, she does not know Chinese. She asks the ba
nk clerk for help.
琼斯第一次来中国所以想去银行把一些美元兑换成人民币，但由于语言不通，她只 能求助于
银行工作人员。

Jones: Good morning, sir. I just came to China and I can't read Chinese. Could yo
u please help me?
琼斯：你好，先生。我刚到中国来不认识汉字，你能帮我个忙吗？

Bank Clerk: My pleasure. What can I do for you?
职员：很高兴为您服务，我能帮您做什么？

Jones: Oh, I want to change some money, but I do not know how to fill out the e
xchange form.
琼斯：啊，我想兑换些钱，但不知道怎样填写兑换单。

Bank Clerk: Would you mind showing me your passport? Also, please write down
your name on the paper.
银行职员：您能把您的护照给我吗？并且，请把您的名字写在这张纸上。

Jones: Here you are. My name is Jones.
琼斯：给你护照和姓名，我叫琼斯。

Bank Clerk: Alright. I will fill out the exchange form for you now. You can take a s

1 exchange… for…交换，exchange A for B，用A来换B。另外，foreign exchange有
外汇的意思。
例句：

2 mind doing sth.介意做某事，在mind后要接动词的动名词形式，也可以接动名词的复合
结构，即mind one's doing，短语中的所有格形式还可以用宾格来代替。
例句：

Oh, I forgot to take my shampoo! Would you mind me using yours?
噢，我忘带洗发水了！我可以用你的吗？

3 fill out填写、填补，fill up也有此意。
例句：
