My name is Lin ZhiYong, 21 years old, born in a small village in Guangdong
province. I am a undergraduate student at Guangdong university of technology. My
major is integrated circuit system and integrated design. I am cheerful
self-confidence, is a non- throwing in the towel boy. My introduction of my college
life shall cover three aspects.
In college, I was always to improve their overall quality as the goal, the overall
development of self-direction, establish a correct outlook on life, values and world
view.
First, when it comes to my study, it is through three years’ of hard work that I
have built up a solid foundation of professional knowledge reflected not only by a
decent student, but also by the fact that I take an active part in various contests
ranging from circuit design and programming. And luckily, my efforts in preparations
for them also lead to some academic honors and awards. Say, these contests have
expanded my knowledge, rather they have enhanced my comprehensive strength as
well. Take Single chip microcomputer competition as an example. The competition
usually lasts for a weeks. Two teammates and I must finish the work including circuit
designing, data collecting, analyzing, calculating, simulating and paper writing. Since
the time is limited and the work is fairly difficult and complex, we usually have to
burn the night oil, thinking, programming and sometimes arguing .Such experiences
taught me how to communicate and cooperate with others. Meanwhile, my skills of
circuit analysis,simulating and paper writing have been significantly improved.
Second, I will talk about my scientific research experience. “Learning makes me
know enough” is my college study and work motivation. I am systematic and
comprehensive way to learn the theoretical basis of this specialized knowledge, at the
same time to apply theoretical knowledge learned in practice activities, the learned
knowledge into hands-on capacity, application ability and creativity. Seek the unity of
theory and practice. When I was sophomore, I entered the school’s electronic
technology club to get myself employment preparation. Later I became a member of
the hardware group, focusing on designing transistor circuit and switching power
supply. Besides I also participated in college students experimental skills competition,
and won the first prize. All these experiences remind me that theoretical principles
and practical methods are the key to research activities.
Third, I will briefly describe my social activities. Apart from studying, I also
forget to insist on participating in various sports and social activities. I joined in the
environmental defense of my institute, and I have worked in the activity department.
As a members, I have tried for students services, and actively work to help teachers
carry out various forms of activities, coordinating the relationship between students
and the collective, so that our class to become a vibrant dynamic group. Although
tasks are as simple and easy as editing planning books, drawing posters, what makes a
difference is that I can meet and deal with different people. In the thinking and
behavior, I am fine style of work, treating others with sincerity, can better handle
interpersonal off the occasion of doing things calm and steady, can reasonably
