1. Styles of learning are quite different in China and in America.
In China: people believe that learning should take place by continual
careful shaping molding. That is to say, they prefer the way of “teaching by
holding his hand”; Children in China are always shown what to do a task.
In America: however, people hold a different view of learning. Americans
think that one has to learn to think by oneself, to discover problems on one’s
own, to solve problems by oneself and even to creative solutions should by
oneself.
In my opinion, we should strike a better balance between the poles of
creativity and basic skills.

2. No, I wouldn’t live the same kind of life as Walton did if I’d become the
richest man in China.
Because, there are lots of people who need help in China, so I would like to
contribute to charity. It will improve people’s living condition. In addition, I’ll
try to create more chance of education and employment for disadvantaged
group.

3. There are many reasons cause the generation gap.
Firstly, people who live in different age have different viewpoints towards
social customs and tradition. For example, parents who were born in 1950’s
are very surprised at the fashion in 1990’s. And parents usually can’t
understand things which on the internet but young men do.
Secondly, nowadays there are less time for parents and children to sit
down together to talk or communication with each other. If they do so, the
gap will be narrowed, if not, it will be widen.

4. I often do some chatting, learning or entertainment online on my
computer. Computer is really a great assistant. For example, I can check
information that I need. And in my spare time, I can watch TV or movies
online. Sometimes I do shopping on the internet with computer. Different
from some boys, I usually do not play games. Now, I think there are more
people dependent on the network. I am not exception, we could not live
without the network.

5. I think a person’s dreams and his efforts are essential(基本的，必要的) to
the road of success. That is to say, both dreaming and hard work are
contribute to our success.
First, a person who only have a dream without effort, he is just a dreamer.
Second, if a person only make efforts blindly, it is that he is no goal and no
dream, the same will not be successful. So both two are indispensable.
Such as the famous pianist Lang Lang, who was born at an musical family,
he had a habit of piano, he dreamed of becoming a pianist, so he practicing
hard, and finally became a well-known pianist.

6. Women can succeed as men in the society. With the development of the
times, women and men have equal status, as the saying goes, a woman can
be up half the sky.
For example, many outstanding women as ancient mulan, modern
superwomen, they were made a great contribution to their family and even
the world.

7. That happy tolerance, that willingness to accept words from anywhere,
explains the richness of English and why it has become, to a very real extent,
the first truly global language.
