for his mother Christmas gift by 10 cents. To his surprise, the shop owner came
out with 12 flowers. The boy couldn’t believe it, then the owner …him. The boy
left the shop happily. After the boy left, the owner said to his wife, there once has
been a poor boy like him.

visual story-telling medium was invented, Moving picture, this is the first feature
film in history. It too comes from Australia, and tells the story of the outlaw Ned

ingredient. As soon as film makers discovered how to put sound onto their films,
cinema really took off. Finally directors could unlock the full potential of moving

Scholars originally assumed that the tablets were just court records of accounts
but then, after years of study, their code was finally cracked. Some of these tablets
actually told a story. It was the first story ever written. It was a story that began and
ended in the first city ever built- a city in what is now Southern Iraq called Uruk. Built

故事梗概: 父亲因儿子缺少勇气而送儿子去训练，在拳击比赛中儿子屡
败屡战，拥有真正的勇气。
A man sent his son to a coach for courage training. The coach promised
to train the boy into a real man within three months. When the father returned, the
coach arranged a boxing match between the child and the boxer. During the match,
the boy was easily knocked down, but each time he fell down, he stood up very
quickly. After the match, the father said it was ashamed to se the boy so easily
knocked down. Yet, the coach said the boy could stand up each time he fell down
without crying, that’s the real courage.
