面试英语口语必备：你认为自己有哪些缺点

What are some of your weaknesses?

你认为自己有哪些缺点？

I tend to be a perfectionist.

我的缺点是过于追求完美。

While doing the marketing research I just mentioned,

例如刚刚跟您提到的那门课，

I went a bit overboard. I researched over 200 articles
and my report was over 100 pages.

我在实行市场调查时，因为太投入 了，竟然查了 200 多篇文章，
报告的长度也足足有 100 多页，

It was beyond the scope of a four-unit class!

已经超出了这门 4 学分的课程所要求的范围了！

回答这个问题时，不能够说“I don't have any weaknesses.” 。
因为这样会让对方认为你 高傲且缺乏 自我分析水平。但是，也没有必
要将自己的缺点告诉对方。能够举一些听起来是缺点但似乎有利于工作的例子，例如，只要投入做某件事情，常常会忘记家人和朋友的 存
有，或是说明以前有某种缺点，但是现在已经完全改善了等。应届毕
业生则能够把没有工 作经验作为一个缺点。

I love my work and always give each project 100%, if not
110%.

我热爱我的工作，不管哪个项目我都投入的精力，甚至更多。



So when I don't feel others are giving their best, I find
it a little frustrating.

所以，如果我觉得其 他人没有尽全力，我会感到有点沮丧。

I prefer to see a project through from start to finish,

我喜欢从头至尾参与一个项目，

so I sometimes find it a little frustrating to work a
single component and not have something to contribute to all
the important aspects of a project.

所以如果只参与其中一部分， 或是觉得自己对项目的核心部 分
没有贡献时，有事会有些失落。

Sometimes I have a hard time saying no to people, and I
end up taking on more than my fair share of the work.

有时候我不太会拒绝，所以做的事情常常比别人多。

I had a tendency to turn in my expense reports late.

以前我的费用报表总是迟交。

One day my boss sat me down and explained the problems
that had caused the accounting department.

有一天，上司叫我坐下来，并向我说明我迟交报表已经给财务部
造成麻烦。

I really took it to heart and since then I have been
turning in my expense reports on time.

我把这件事牢记心上，从那次以后，我都准时提交费用报表了。

Being a fresh graduate, I have little work experience in
my field.
