1. First job/Experience in Ji Nan Public Transport Company
I have attended the training center of Jinan Public Transport Company
since I graduatedfrom college in 2008. Because of my talent in
communication, I joined in theannual training programfor bus drivers. At
the beginning of the program, I made a lot of friends who are talented in
different areas. After that I became the leader with the task to organize
theannual training program inMay,2012. After several discussions, I
quickly organized a team of six members who are very talent. They were
divided into three groups and charged training needs survey,courses
development, and schedule management separately.
Everything has gone pretty well at first, but after several days, one of my
members made a blunder of the training order. As a result, there was a
schedule conflict for the trainers. It took me a whole day to solve the
problem, making a new agenda, informing all the other team leaders and
putting off some courses to the end of the program. This has challenged
me to come out of my comfort zone, and sparked my interest in
organizing and running training programs particularly. The program was
extremely successful. Despite of the reputation, we helped many drivers
as well.
This may help me see the difficulties in a positive light. Also, I’ve learned
that teamwork isvery important and the communicative skill is an entry
ticket to the success. In my opinion, teamwork is a group of people
working towards a common goal. It’s more likely to reach the goal faster,
because team members' different talents can help to work problems out
