面试口语题目
1. Tell me something about yourself?
My name is LJW, and my English name is Karena. I am 16 years old and now I study in
Pei Jia Bilingual School. I like playing the piano and doing some bakery in my free time. I
think I am outgoing and bubbly. So I have many friends and I can get along well with most
my classmates. Today I am very happy to attend the interview. And thank you for your
attention.

2. What do you want to be in the future?
Actually, I haven’t a very clear idea about what to do in the future. But I am very interested in
music, and I am quite skilled in playing the piano. So maybe in the future, I will do
something about music, like a music teacher or pianist. But now, I really don’t have an
exact answer. I hope in the study of senior high school, I can know what job fits me
most, then I can make a final decision.

3. Why do you want to study in our school? What interests you most of our school?
The thing interests me most of your school is the activities. I think it is the main difference
between an international school and a public school. From different activities, I can
develop my interest and enjoy my school life. What’s more, I know U-link is one of the
top international schools in Shanghai. Since I will go to Britain for further study, so the
course set in your school A-level meets my needs very well. So I want to study in your
school.

4. What about your school life in Pei Jia?
In the first two years, I think my school life is very interesting. We have lots of activities to
take part in and have less school work. But I have to say my life in grade 9 is quite
stressful, because we must handle the entrance examination. Every day we have large
amounts of ’s terrible. I think it is one of the reasons why I want to go on
study in an international school, because I think the traditional education just want to
turn you into a test machine, I think it is meaningless.

5. What are your favorite subject and least favorite subject?
My favorite subject at school is PE, because it is the only time we can relax ourselves and
leave behind the stressful school work. So I like it best. My least favorite subject is
Chinese. It’s not because I don’t like reading. Instead, I like reading very much.
However, our Chinese teacher always asks us to recite the articles in the books. It is very
boring and time-consuming. I hope in the future, our teacher can share some interesting
stories and books with us. I think it will be more meaningful.

6. What are your strength and weakness?
I think I am a person of good adaptability. I am a quick learner. And when I am in a new
environment, I can adjust myself and fit into the new environment. Maybe it’s because
I am very optimistic and open-minded. And my weakness is that I am a person of less
self-control. It shows in my daily life that I will forget time when I am watching TV or
playing computer. I need others to remind me. I know it is a very bad habit, so I am
trying best to work on it.

7. What is the most important thing you have learned in your school?
I think the most important thing I learned in my school is the organizational ability. I am the
monitor of my class, so I have to help my teacher to take charge of some activities.
What’s more, as a monitor, I should learn how to communicate with my classmates and
teachers. It is also a good way to cultivate my interpersonal ability. I think these two
abilities are the most precious things I learned in my school, and I will carry them to my
future life.

8. Why do you think we should accept your application?
First, my school performance is very good. Generally speaking, I can always rank the top 10 in
any exams. Secondly, since I am the monitor of my class. So it helps me establish many
good qualities, such as responsibilities and organizational abilities. Finally, I have a wide
range of interest. I am skilled in playing the piano and I can speak a little French. I think
an international school may prefer the well-rounded students rather than those who are
only good at studying. If I can be one of the students in your school, I am sure I will
show my potential.

9. Do you have any questions for us about our school?
a. Do your school have Chinese courses?
b.
c. Are there any chances that we can experience the courses in UK or USA by the students
exchange program?

10. Who is the person you admire most?
The person I admire most is Emma Watson. She gets famous because of the Harry Potter series
at an early age. But she is still very modest. In school, she is an A-list student so she
enters the Brown University very smoothly. In her heyday, she stops her movie career to
support feminism (the gender equality). I have watched the video of her speech in the
United Nation HeforShe. It is really powerful and provoking. I think she is a very good
model for teenagers. That’s why I admire her the most.

11. What is the most unforgettable experience in your life?
The most unforgettable experience in my life is the Bungee jumping in New Zealand. Last winter
vacation, I went to New Zealand for travel. And it was the first time I experience Bungee
jumping. When I standing in the 40-meter plat. I was afraid and I hold the hands of the
staff firmly. And suddenly, they pushed me to the ground. So it happened out of my
expectation. I really wanted to hold something when I am falling, because I was very
frightened. Finally, I got to the boat and I felt was safe again. But now, I really want to
try it again and experience the feeling like flying.

The favorite place I have been to is Austria. As we all know, it is the home of music. Since I
have a great passion for music, so when I step into the land, I feel really friendly and
excited. Austria is also famous for its beautiful scenery, we paid a visit to the most
beautiful village in the world which is called Hallstatt. Many famous musicians come
from Austria, such as Mozart,Schubert and so on. So it has a very unique sense to me.
That’s why I like Austria the best.

My favorite book is the one called Anna Karenina. It is written by a Russian writer called Leo
Tolstoy. The story of the book is mainly about the life of Anna. Anna is a woman who
pursuit true love and happiness. But the man he fall in love with is hypocritical and cruel.
Therefore, he made Anna heartbreak and finally kill herself in the train track. This book
show us the indifference of old Russian society.

14. If you have one million dollars, what will you do with it?
First, I will spend most of the money to do some investments, like buying insurance and
investing in know,as it is temporary to have one million dollars, investing is
an advisable choice so that I can make as much money as possible with those
, I want to keep some into my bank account. If one day I get bad
investments, I have a little chance to save it. Most importantly, I will donate some
money to some charities. Because I know there are many people in the world are
