英语演讲稿
——以“中国队”为主题

Respected judges,
Have you looked up at the starry sky recently? Many Chinses have done so.
What were they looking for? They were not looking for aliens or wishing on meteors.
They were welcoming Chang’e 5, china’s first unmanned lunar probe to come back.
For the first time in history, it has brought back 2 kilograms of lunar soil.
The name Chang’e came from a Chinese mythology. Legend has it that Chang’e
was a beautiful woman, who flew to the Moon after taking magical drugs, taking with
her a lovely rabbit.
The old mythology reflects Chinese space flight dream. The dream keeps on
inspiring chinses to make progress in aerospace industry. As the saying goes, Rome
was not built in a day. How could chinses realize the dream from scratch? It could not
be separated from the efforts of Chinese aerospace team.
In this team, there are older generation scientist like Qian queen, who, after much
suffering and giving up his comfortable life, returned to china from abroad against all
odds. It was he who promoted the development of Chinese aerospace industry.
Younger generation, such as Yang Liwei, the first Chinese astronaut, is brave
and calm. He kept receiving hard training for many years, hoping to make it to the
outer space. There are more Chinses working for Chinese aerospace industry, and
believe it or not, the average age of Change’s 5 scientific research members is only 33
years old.
Chinese aerospace team’s story doesn’t end here. To realize the dream of space
flight, every Chinese supports the development of Chinese aerospace industry. Every
Chinese who looked up at the starry sky is cared of Chinese aerospace industry.
The spirit which was showed by Chinese aerospace team is called Aerospace
Spirit, which will surely inspire us to make nation rejuvenation dream come true.
