Best Action Movies of All Time
The action movie is one of the most loved and most watched types.
In this article, we will present to you five typical movies of it.
Die Hard (1988)
Based on the best-selling novel, Die Hard is a fast-paced action movie directed by John McTirnan. Bruce
Willis plays a policeman in New York — John McClane, who tries to save his wife and others. The movie has been
followed by four sequels (续集).Die Hard set the standard for many other action movies.
Terminator 2 : Judgment Day (1991)
It’s directed by James Cameron, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger & Linda Hamilton. An advanced
terminator is sent from the future to kill John, son of Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). Arnold Schwarzenegger, a
less advanced terminator is also sent from the future to protect John. The movie has won four Academy Awards. It
was also one of the first movies to have a partially computer-generated character in a lead role. Teminator
2 :Judgment Day is succeeded by two more sequels.
Speed (1994)
This movie is directed by Jan de Bont, starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. Reeves plays a policeman
in Los Angeles who is following a mad bomber. The bomber places a bomb on a bus full of people, and if the bus
slows down below the speed of 50 miles/hour, the bomb will go off. Sandra Bullock plays an innocent passenger
who gets involved in the plot.
The Matrix (1999)
Directed by Larry and Andy Wachowski, starring Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne, The Matrix is set in
the future where the world is taken over by machines, from which harvest humans to get energy. Neo, a computer
programmer ( played by Keanu Reeves) , joins hands in the uprising against machines. The Matrix has been
followed by two sequels. It has been praised for the pioneering use of special visual effects. It has won four
Academy Awards.
Kill Bill: Vol.1(2003)
Directed by Quentin Tarantino, Kill Bill : Vol. 1 is the first of the series movie. A bride is shot on her
wedding day by her former boss. She

and swords play, you are going to enjoy it.
