【语法知识聚 焦】
一般过去时：表示过去曾经发生的动作或出现的状态，以动词的过去式表达，如：
I was at the library yesterday afternoon.
Tom studied hard and did well in the final exam last year.
动词的过去式分为规则动词和不规则动词两种。
1. 规则动词只要在动词词尾加上
clean—cleaned；
2. 词尾是不发音字母
如：stop—stopped；
4. 词尾为辅音字母加
其否定句由助动词
y的，应将y改为i再加上ed，如：study studie
did，并将原谓
5. 不规则动词有其自己的变化形式，只能分别记忆。did加上not构成；疑问句应在主语前加上助动词
e的，可只加上d，如：like—like d；
ed，3. 词尾为重读闭音节，结尾只有一个辅音字母的，应双写该辅音字母，再加上
e d即可。具体方法是一般情况直接加，如：

语动词变 为原形，如：

一般过去时的时间状语都是明显表示过去的，如：
yesterday、last night、last week、in 1998、three months ago等。
