考点一并列连词和并列句
1.表并列关系的and“和,并且”,(否定句中把 and 改为or),both…and“二者都,
既……又”,not only…but also“不但……而且”,neither…nor …“既不……也不”as well
as“既……又(也)”,either … or“要么……要么”。
Both I and she like music.我和她都喜欢音乐。
Neither you nor Lucy works hard.你和露丝工作都不勤奋。
Not only Tom but also his brother has been to Xi'an.汤姆和他弟弟都去过西
安。
Mary can sing as well as dance.玛丽歌唱得好,舞也跳得好。
注意:not only…but also; neither…nor…; either … or …连接主语时,谓语动词要
与和它靠近的那个主语保持一致,即遵守“就近原则”。

2.表选择关系的or“或,否则,要不然”,either…or…“要么……要么……”等。
Get up earlier, or you will be late for school.早点起床,否则你会迟到的。
Either you or he has the ticket.或者你或者他有票。
3.表转折关系的but“但是”,while“而”,(含有比 较之意),however“但是”,yet“可
是,然而”等。
I like English, but I can't speak it.我喜欢英语,但我不会说。
His eyes are blue, while mine are black.他的眼睛是蓝色的,而我的是黑色的。
He works in Beijing now, however, his home is in Shenzhen.他现在在北京工作,
但他家在深圳。
4.表因果关系的for“因为”,so“所以”,because“因为”等。
She didn't go to school, for she was ill.她没去上学,因为她病了。
She was ill, so she didn't go to school.她病了,所以没去上学。
She didn't go to school because she was ill.她没去上学,因为她病了。
考点二从属连词和状语从句
1.引导时间状语从句的after“在……之后”,before “在……之前”;when“当… …时
候”(后面可跟延续性或短暂性动词);while“当……时候”(后面只跟延续性动
词 );as“一边……一边”;until“直到……才”;since“自从”;as soon as“一……就”等。
Look before you leap.三思而后行。
I will call you as soon as I get there.我一到那儿就给你打电话。
When I came in, he was reading a book.我进来时他在看书。
While he was reading a book, I came in.他在看书的时候我进来了。I won't tell
you the truth until you tell me the reason.你不告诉我原因,我就不会告诉你真相。

2.引导地点状语从句的where, wherever“无论哪里”等。
Where there is a will, there is a way.有志者,事竟成。
Wherever you go, whatever you do, I'll be here waiting for you.不论你去哪里,
不论你做什么,我将一直在这儿等你。
3.引导条件状语从句的if“如果”,unless“除非”等。
We will put off the sports meeting if it rains tomorrow.如果明天下雨,我们就推
迟运动会。
You won't make progress unless you study hard.除非你认真学习,否则你不会
取得进步。
注意: if 引导的条件状语从句,主句用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时,即“主将
从现”。
4.引导原因状语从句的连词:because, since, as, for
(1) because常指人们不知道的原因,语气最强,后面接句子。 because of 后
面接名词或动名词。
He didn't go to school yesterday because he was ill.昨天他没去上学,因为他病
了。
He didn't go to school yesterday because of his illness.昨天他没去上学,因为他
病了。
(2) since表示对方已经知道的,既成事实的理由,语气较弱。
Since water is very important, we should try our best to protect it.既然水非常
重要,我们就应该尽力保护它。
(3) as表示十分明显的原因,一般说明因果关系,语气更弱。
As it is raining heavily, you'd better not go out.雨下得太大了,你最好别出去。
