Doctor
said
that
she
had
a
rare
eye
disease
that
would
slowly
take
away
her
eyesight
completely. In first
grade, she
learned to read
Braille (the language used for the
blind)
although

could
still
see.
Life

to white. Soon, Molly couldn

t see the blackboard.
As
her
eyesight
weakened,
Molly
began
using
stick

help
her
walk.
This
embarrassed her friends, and people stopped inviting her to do things. Then the
bullying (
欺凌

Molly
once
broke
her
ankle
and
had
to
use
crutches(

to
help
her

A
group

use to keep us connected while we’re on the go.

Nearly 700 Swiss teens took part in a test of figural memory. This type helps us
remember abstract symbols and shapes, explains Milena Foerster. The teens took
memory tests twice, one year apart. Each time, they had one minute to remember 13
pairs of abstract shapes. Then they were shown one item from each pair and asked
to match it with one of the five choices. The
study

also
took

That’s

The two memory

how
they

And
they
got

from

companies.
The
researchers
used
those

how
long
the
teens
were
using their phones. This allowed the
researchers to work out how big radiation exposure (

got while talking.
A phone user’s exposure
to the radiation can differ widely. Some teens talk on
