Aging Problem
With
the
modern
improvement
of
living
standard,
the
rapid
economic
development
and
advances
in
medical
standards,
human
life
has
been
fighting
an
unprecedented
increase.
According to the survey, China has become an aging society, with
144 million elderly over 60 years old, about 11 percent of the total
population, thus also brought a series of major social issues that
how we could deal with the daily life of so many problems of the
elderly.

Undoubtedly,
aging
population
has
become
our
country's
urgent problems faced by
our government, which
has more than
100
million
figures,
barely
ten
people
inside
a
senior
citizen.
To
some extent, they no longer contribute to the community to create
productive any more, but they are still in the consumption, still in
the living. What are China's aging population features? The first is
the large population of the elderly, as China is the only country in
the world with over 100 million elderly aged above 60. The second
is
the
rapidly
aging
population.
The
proportion
of
the
population
aged
over
60
is
expected
to
rise
from
11
percent
in
2013
to
30
percent in 2045. The third is the low productivity of China, with a
per-capita
GDP
smaller
than
many
Western
countries,
hence
leaving limited financial ability to support its aging programs. The
fourth
is
the
heavy
burden
derived
from
the
country's
transition
from
a
planned
economy
to
a
market
economy.
China
therefore
has to shoulder the heavy burden left from the planned economy
without a pension system.
Some people say that they make a contribution to where we
are
today
so
much;
we
have
an
obligation
and
responsibility
to
them now in charge. However, they also brought serious problems
to
our
society
that
lead
to

relative
lack
of
labor
force,
greater
pension
pressure,
increasing
medical
expenses
and
the
heavy
burden
of
nursing
care
for
the
elderly.

There is much talk about slowing down of China's economic
growth
because
of
a
drop
in
the
working
age
population
in
the
coming
future.
Some
people
say
China
will
become
an
aging
country before it gets rich. Therefore, many Chinese people want
the
government
to
loosen
the
family
planning
policy
to
ensure
optimum availability of working age people in the future.

Therefore, to tackle these four problems, we are in a urgent
need to make measurements.
But the discussion on aging population and labor force should
not be limited to the country's family planning policy and birth rate.
