Six Harmonies Pagoda


The
name
“Six
Harmonies”comes
from
the
six
Buddhist ordinances, meaning “harmonies of the heaven,
earth, north, south, east, and west”. The pagoda was
first built in 970 AD by the King of Wuyue State, and it
was listed
as one
of the
key national cultural
heritages
in
1961.
It
has
gone
through
ruins
and
reconstruction
many
you climb up to the top floor, no doubt you can get a
gorgeous view of the river and the bridge.

Xixi National Wetland Park

The park
which
is
located
in
the
west
of
Hangzhou,
was officially opend to the public on May 1, 2005. It is
the first of its kind in China and the only state-level
wetland park in a city. Xixi Wetland used to rank as a
famous scenic spot along with the west lake in ancient
times. However, the ecological and cultural treasures
that made Xixi Wetland unique in the past were in danger
of
being
lost
forever
due
to
the
result
of
urban
expansion
and human activity.
