RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES OF FOREIGN TEACHERS
Teaching and Other Duties at School
1.
Follow the local school rules & regulations (extra copy provided)
2.
Follow the timetable of the school; do not be late for class or dismiss early.
3. Prepare a syllabus and teaching plan for each course with teaching contents,
focal points and learning challenges. You will follow them accordingly.
4.
Be
affirmative
with
the
students,
however
friendly
manner
and
regularly
collect feedbacks from them about teaching.
5.
Assign
students
oral
or
written
homework,
and
keep
a
record
of
their
attendance,
participation,
homework,
attitude
and
quiz.(fill
the
student
reporting card on weekly basis)
6. Prepare, mark, and analyze weekly, monthly and term examination papers
in
timely
fashion,
holding
review
sessions
with
the
students
and
correct
common errors with the class.
7. Report results of exams to the academic coordinator on time.
8. Allow other teachers to attend your classes and cooperate with the teaching
evaluation.
9. Keep in constant touch with the academic coordinator. Participate actively in
teaching and researching activities to improve teaching.
10.
Be
flexible
with
schedule
changes
around
Chinese
traditional
national
holidays.
11. No rescheduling courses without the permission from the school.
12. No taking part-time jobs without the permission from the school.
13. Regular meeting and report if required to the senior level
14. Report
only to the appointed manager
for any issues on teaching and
students before any actions can be taken by teachers
Personal Behaviors
1. School gates are the only access to enter the campus, no jumping walls or
gates.
2.
On
weekdays,
if
not
for
working
reasons,
teachers
are
required
to
come
back
to
the
apartment
before
11:00
pm.
If
not,
do
report
it
in
advance
and
explain why to the apponited manager.
3.
Visitors to
the
apartment
on
campus
should
leave
before
10:00 pm.
(no
regular
visits
especially
during
the
schooling
days)Non- residents
are
not
allowed to stay overnight in the school apartment.
4. Keep the apartment clean and tidy. Take good care of the furniture, electrical
appliances and other items in it.
5. No drinking and smoking allowed on campus
6. Immediately report any problems or difficulties in work and personal life to
the
appointed manager only
for an effective solution.
7. Maintain harmony with Chinese teachers and students.
8. No spreading anti-China comments; No activities irrelevant to teaching.
9. Keep your salary confidential from other teaching staff members.
Penalty Procedure for not following the regulations and duties

Panel hearing on the issues, first time

Oral warning, second time (deduction of whole month salary)

Written
warning,
the
third
time
(dismiss
from
the
position,
cancelling
the
working visa and returning the admin fees on working visa applied early)
