三、教学过程
一、现在分词的构成规则:

一般情况下,直接加
ing
,如:

四、 现在进行时的应用
1
、表示现在正在进行或发生的动作,当句
子中有
now, at the
moment
,
it’s +
具体点钟时,常表示动作正在进行,这时要用现在
进行时。如:
they are playing basketball now.
现在他们正在打篮
球。
i am cleaning my room now.
现在我正在打扫房间。

、以
look, listen
开头的句子,提示我们动作正进行,这时要用现在进行
时。如:
look! jack is swimming.
看!杰克正在游泳。
listen! she
is singing.
听!她正在唱歌。翻译下面的句子①看!我弟弟正在游泳。< br>②听!我妹妹正在唱歌。

、表示当前一段时间或现阶段正在进行
的动作,且此时有
this week, these days
等时间状语,这时常用现
在进行时。如:
they are planting trees these days.
这几天他们在
种树
4< br>、有些动词从结构来看是现在进行时,但却是表示将要发生
的事,而不表示动作现在正在进行。这 些动词往往是一些表示位置
移动变化的动词,如:
go , come , leave , fly , move, start, begin ,
arrive, , stay, return
等。

progressive tense is used;

simple present tense and the present progressive tense;

different situations;

some questions about the picture.

ss: bob is talking on the phone.
t: suppose i am bob, you are jenny. jenny, what are you doing?
ss: i am watching tv.

(purpose of design: this step will arise the students’ interests
and enable the students to know the form of the present
progressive tense.)
activity2: the teacher asks the students questions with the
help of the slide. t: what’s the time now?
ss: it’s eight o’clock.
t: it’s after dinner time now. so, what is she doing?
ss: she is watching tv now.
t: she usually goes shopping on weekends. so, where is she
now? at the moment, she is in a..(ss: supermarket). so, what is
she doing now?
ss: she is shopping.
activity 3: the teacher asks the students to read the sentences
on the slide and to figure out the tenses.
(purpose of design: this step is to strengthen the students’
ability of reading. ) activity 4: the teacher asks the students to
conclude what is the present progressive
tense and then delivers the correct definitions of these two
tenses.
(purpose of design: this step is to cultivate the students’
ability to think by themselves. )
activity 5: the teacher encourages the students to figure out
the form of the present progressive tense.
