Learning to Play the Piano
（我学弹钢琴）



When I was a child,
I
was fascinated by the
melody of piano on the screen. At that time,
I
dreamed of being a pianist and having my own piano.

At
the
age
of
five,
my
father
bought
me
a
beautiful
piano
as
my
birthday
present
with
the
money they had saved for a long time. At the same time, my father found a piano teacher for me
and every day I would practise it again and again as my father demanded. Before long, my interest
in piano was transferred to other things. I began to escape the practice as much as I could. My
father
found
out
my
impatience. He
encouraged
me
and
was
stricter
with
me
than
ever
before.
With his help,
I underwent the hardest time and devoted myself to the piano.

Now, in my spare time after a long time of study and hard work, I always play the piano and
enjoy the beautiful music.

孩提时代，我总被电视上钢琴的优美旋律所吸引。那时，我就梦想有一架自己的钢琴，
成为一名钢琴师。

岁的时候，爸爸用他积攒了很久的钱 为我买了一架很漂亮的钢琴，作为我的生日礼物。
为此，爸爸还为我请了钢琴老师。每天，我都按爸爸的 要求不停地练习。没过多久，我对钢
琴的兴趣就越来越淡了，
我开始尽可能逃避练琴。
爸爸发现了我的厌琴情绪，
鼓励我坚持下
去，对我的要求也比以前更严了。在爸爸的帮助下，我 度过了最难熬的一段日子，
并全身心
投入到练琴中。



今天，学习和工作之余，我就弹起钢琴来，享受那美妙的音乐。

has
been
estimated
that
smokers
have
made
up
half
of
the
population
in China.
And
the
smokers are becoming younger and younger,
even ineluding some middle school students.

Nowadays
more
an
d
more
people
have
realized
smoking
can
do
harm
to
people’shealth.
However,
some
people
still
enjoy
smoking.
Why?
Because
some
of
them
think
it
is
a
kind
of
fashion, some think it is of great fun and others, think that smoking can refresh themselves.

In fact,
smoking is a bad habit. It can cause a lot of diseases. Meanwhile smoking is a waste
of money. Besides, careless smokers may cause dangerous fires.

Smoking
is
harmful
and
it
is
not
only
bad
for
smokers
themselves,
but
also
bad
for
non-smokers.

Therefore, I hope all the smokers can give up smoking for themselves and also for the people
around them.

据估计，在中国吸烟者约占总人口的一半，而且 烟民的年龄越来越年轻，甚至一些中学
生也在抽烟。


如今越来越多 的人们已经认识到吸烟有害人体健康，但他们仍然乐此不疲。为什么

一些
人认为抽烟 是一种时髦，另外一些人认为抽烟很有趣，还有一些人认为吸烟可以提神。


事实上，吸烟是一种不好的习惯，它能导致很多疾病。同时，吸烟很浪费金钱。除此而
外，粗心的烟民还 可能引起火灾。


吸烟对人们的身体百害而无一利。它不仅有害吸烟者本人， 而且对不吸烟者也会造成损
害。


因此，我希望吸烟者为自己和身边的人们而戒烟。


It is said that there are about half of people in China are young boys and girls
have the habit of smoking, though they are middle school students.

As we all know, smoking does great harm to human beings. More and more people have come
to realize how serious this problem is. But they are never bored with it. Some people think it is a
kind of fashion, some think it is of great fun and others think that smoking can refresh themselves.
