was at 1 am, much before dawn break.

cousin
had
come
from
Italy
and
wanted
to
visit
the
Golden
Temple
in
Amritsar.

We
decided
to
go
by
car,
because
Golden
Temple
is
about
100
kms
from
my
home
town.



? We needed to reach there by 3 am, to see the early morning rituals of the Golden
Temple.



? We reached well in time.

morning,
the
holy
book
‘
Guru
Granth
Sahib
’
is
brought
in
the
main
temple
from another building in a palanquin.



? The whole environment is filled with music of the hymns and chants.



? We were thinking that because we had reached so early, we would be able to go
inside without any problem.



? But we were so wrong.



? The temple was full of people.



? We just joined the long queue.



? Then after about an hour we could reach inside and pay our obeisance.
