Unit1 How do you study for a test?

glad
to
talk
about
how
I
learn
English.
We
should
listen
more,
speak
more
and
practice more. If we practice enough, we can remember English words better. And when we read

an essay, we aren't supposed to look up new words in the dictionary, we should try to guess their
meanings in the context.






We must take notes as many as possible. And try to review them often. If you have some
spare time, you may keep a diary every day to improve your writing skills.

Unit 2 I used to be afraid of the dark.





I used to be short but now I am tall. I used to be shy and quiet but now I am outgoing and
easygoing. I like making friends now. I used to like reading books and watching TV, but now I like
listening to music especially rock music. Do you have any changes? What did you use to be and
use to like before?

Changes for healthy lifestyle





Living a healthy lifestyle is very important. I used to play videogames all day long. One day, a
friend invited me to play table tennis. After a few points I was so tired that I couldn't keep playing.
That made me change my attitude. Since then I play table tennis almost every day with her. When
my friend is busy I go out to the park for a walk to get some fresh air. The hardest part about
keeping a healthy lifestyle is not eating so many snacks or too much fast food. I try my best to eat
more fruit instead of chips. So far I've improved, but I know I have to keep working at it. The
most important thing about a healthy lifestyle is not giving up.

Unit 3 Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes.




We are in Class Three, Grade One. We want to have an English club. We want to help with
your English, especially your English speaking. When you join the club, you should speak English
only and you are allowed to bring your dictionaries. You are now allowed to bring any food to the
