主谓一致
1.
语法或形式一致原则
(1)
单数名词
(
代词
)
、不可数名词作主语时，谓语动词用
；
复数名词
(
代词
)
作主语时，谓语动词用
数。
如：

a tall man. (be)
Some bread

(2)
主语后面即使带有由
with, together with,
介词短语时，介词短语一般不作主语。
谓语动词与介词前的主语保持一致。
如：
Mr Green with his children
watching TV now. (be)
Mr Green with his children
in the meeting room. (be)
(3)
不定代词不定代词作主语时，谓语动词用单数形式。
如：
Everything
ready. (be)
(4)
不定式、动名词或从句作主语，谓语动词一般用单数。

就近原则
，
即谓语动词的单复数形式取决于离它最近的
名词、
代词等词的数。
(1) there, here
引导的句子
如：

a book and two pens on the table. (be)

Here

either...or..., neither...nor..., not only...but also..., not...but ...
连接两个名词或代词作主语时。
