easter. different nations have different versions of the game,
usually played with hard-boiled, decorated england,
germany and other countries, children traditionally rolled eggs
down hillsides at easter; this may have become symbolic of
the rolling away of the rock from jesus christ’s tomb before his
resurrection.

the easter bunny (also called the easter rabbit or easter hare)
is a folkloric figure and symbol of easter, depicted as a rabbit
bringing easter eggs. originating among german lutherans, the
easter hare originally played the role of a judge, evaluating
whether children were good or disobedient in behavior at the
start of the season of eastertide. the easter bunny is
sometimes depicted with clothes. in legend, the creature
carries colored eggs in his basket, candy, and sometimes also
toys to the homes of children, and as such shows similarities
to santa claus as they both bring gifts to children on the night
before their respective holidays.

what is easter?

easter is the celebration of jesus christs rising from the dead
after his crucifixion which took place on what we now term
good friday (the friday before easter).

christians. christians celebrate easter by going to church
followed by many games and activities. some cities have
easter day parades to celebrate easter. many parents will give
easter baskets full of colored/dyed easter eggs, candy and
chocolate to their children (of course telling them that the
easter bunny left the baskets for them).
