Modern technology has enabled people to enjoy better life than before. Meanwhile, people have an increasing demand of
energy to satisfy their daily needs, such as lighting and transportation, etc.

Natural resources are limited, and with the endless demand from human beings, the amount of the resources will decrease
rapidly.
We need to cultivate energy-saving habits. On the one hand, we should turn off the computer monitor every time after we
shut it down. The monitor, if left on, still consumes electricity even though the computer connected to it has been turned off.
On the other hand, we should choose public transportation whenever it is appropriate. Travelling by subway and bus will
save much more energy than driving a car.

Private cars are no longer a sign of luxury in most cities in China. More and more families could afford at least one private
car, which make their lives more convenient and wonderful. Therefore the number of cars on road keeps increasing year by
year.
This trend is undoubtedly a positive sign of a wealthier population. Yet the side effects of it appear at the same time. The
cities are becoming more crowded, the air is seriously polluted and the noise is very disturbing.



The government should persuade people to choose public transportation and special measures could be taken to control
the amount of cars on road. After all, convenience should not be realized by destroying the environment people live in.

On the other hand, it is believed that grasping a foreign language means obtaining a useful skill, which could make a
person be able to fulfill more jobs and demands in the society.

To me, the most time-consuming task for students in China is learning English. They have to spend a lot of precious time
reading,
memorizing
words,
and
doing
exercises.
To
them,
the
only
meaning
in
English
learning
is
to
deal
with
tests.
Therefore, it is not necessary for all the people to learn English. (139 words)

The fanciful and colorful world in the games helps the player to develop creativity and imagination.
I could not deny the positive side of computer games, but the question is whether young players could really benefit from
these advantages, or are they more easily influenced by the false images shown in the games. If young people are lack of

wherever
you
are,
even
when
you
are
enjoying
a
dinner
at
home.
Secondly,
the
frequent
sending
and
receiving
of
short
messages may keep a person continually alert to any sound similar to that of a cell phone. According to psychologists, being
constantly
sensitive
to
some
sounds
will
make
people
feel
under
pressure.
Do
you
want
to
stay
away
from
the
harm
of
overusing mobile phones? Just turn it off after a day’s work.
