There
are

respectable
people
around
us.

my
neighbor
Uncle Li for example. He is a volunteer who works as a gate guard in our

his

duty

temperature

for
exit
and
entry.
Regardless

risk
of

Uncle
Li
is
responsible

There
are
many
respectable
people
around
us.
And
the
person
I
respect most is my physics teacher. She is of medium height, with long
and blonde hair. She is so patient with each student that we all like her.
It
is
her
friendliness
and
the
sense
of
responsibility
that
make
me
admire her. When I failed the exam last month and was in low spirits, she
patted me gently on the shoulder and gave me great encouragement.
She
teaches
us
not
only
gain
knowledge

how

people

us.

teachers, parents or one of our elders. As for me, my father is the person
I respect most. My father is a teacher who loves his work and his students

time to accompany me and share many funny things with me about his

come

problems

learning

father
will
listen
to

and

The Man I Respect Most

My father is the man I respect most. Stern as he may be, he never
fails
to
show
his
care
and
consideration.
Once
I
broke
a
neighbor

window.
Seeing
nobody
around,
I
ran
away
immediately.
When
Dad
came
home,
he
noticed
my
uneasiness
and
asked
me
what
had
happened.
I could only tell him the truth. Rather than scold me, he praised my
honesty and then encouraged me to apologize to our neighbor. I learned
from this episode that not only does Dad take care of our health but he
also teaches us how to be good citizens. How lucky I am to have such a
good father!

There are many respectable people around me. My maths teacher,
Mr.
Wang,
who
has
a
pair
of
big
shiny
eyes,
straight
nose,
and
small
mouth, is the person I respect most in my life.
During
my
senior
school
days,
I
did
not often
get
good marks
for
maths, but Mr. Wang never scolded me. Instead, he always asked me to
raise questions whenever I need help. In particular, he was very patient
though sometimes I had no way to solve some difficult maths problems.
He always said to me,
to get success in the future.
And with his considerate help, I successfully got high marks for the
national college entrance examination.

For me, the most respectable person round me is my best friend, Li
