Basketball

Mendonsa,
died
last
month
at age 95.
On Aug 14, 1945,
Japan surrendered to the United States, ending

photojournalist
Alfred
Eisenstaedt
took

camera
to

streets
of
New

people were celebrating the victory
everywhere.
