所在的单位是公共服务行业，经常得考虑制作标识、宣传栏，以方便群众。按理说做
< br>什么事情总应该有一个整体规划，
拿出一套一揽子方案，
争取一步到位才好。
无奈现实总是
多变，有人为的，比如心血来
潮，朝令夕改，也有时事变迁的，例如老病拆了，新病房又建
了，相关配套设施也得跟上
，不然就会工作脱节，
给大家带来极大困扰
（主要是医院服务对
象
——
病人）
。就有一次碰到医保科、新农合办公室搬家，从一楼搬到二楼，事前也没有拿
出方案来，
临到搬家了才想起，哦，我们忘记申请制作标识了，病人找不着怎么办。得，赶
紧找办公
室去制作去。于是，行事不免仓促，也容易导致工作脱节。
至于制作的质量方面，就是办公室的事情了，<
/p>
文字要贴切、样式要美观。虽然我并非学
的是美工专业，
在材料质地方面诚然缺乏足够的鉴赏能力，
但审美观念还是有的，
做出来的
样品的优劣至少还能分辨。因为，艺术总是相通的嘛！由于单
位分两院办公的缘故，工作经
常会出现缺位时，作为临时替补，也只好硬着头皮学习相关
的知识，从互联网找资料，
在别
的城市别的公共场所别的医院留
心观察它们的样板。
诚然，
材质的问题涉及到费用等诸多问
题，那不是我等小人所能掌控的，但是设计的理念、呈现的方式，我倒可以
< br>“
插上
”
一杠。
最开始是校稿，校正文稿中的错别字，保证
环节质量。这个没有多大的问题，毕竟是学
汉语言的嘛，语句不通、语病、错别字之类一
校还真发现了许多问题。
其
次是制作双语标识。
应该说，
医院不乏一群优秀的医生，
但是在公共服务
（标识指引）
、
便民生活设施方面却缺乏一贯系统、
严密的人性化理念。
例如公用电话的缺失、
银行自动取
款机的匮乏，
公共信息的欠缺
（公交路线、
通讯地址、
联系方式、
便民地图、
银行网点分布）
等等。
在院内的标识方面，
也有待提高。
各种标牌在使用中质量堪忧，
雨淋掉色、
风吹
折断、
夜间失明、人为破坏的情况时有发生，这跟院方在广告标志方面一贯择廉从之的思
路有关，
最根本的问题就是钱嘛，这是由腰包（物质）决定的。我们也只能在夹缝中求生
存，在基本
满足质量的情况下确保最优啦。
言归正传，
制作双语标识并不是自我开始的，
而是医院在标
识制作方面一贯的优良传统，
不知道从哪一天开始，
医院所有包
含中文的标识均相应贴上了
英文。但是翻译问题也暴露出来了，译得不准、不确切、甚至
错误的，原来翻译这一关几乎
就是广告制作方用翻译软件弄出来的，以他们的心态，反正
没几个外国人来，也没人计较，
差强人意就行。但是，从某一天开始，有人计较了。一开
始我也没太注意，但不巧看到了一
个有问题的单词，
不是这么回
事呀。
于是我就留意网络上各地关于医院相关科室、
设施的权<

并且随着应
用的深入，我还从网上
通过甄别、
请教，不断丰富对应的英文词
汇。
于是，一个相对完整的医院双语标识对应词汇
出炉了。
再接着，就是设计理念的问题了
。在楼层平面图、索引导向图、指向标等小标牌的制作
过程中，我和广告制作商产生了诸
多分歧。一开始，由于自己认识的浅薄（或偏激、自大）
，
与对
方的设计常常有异议，于是也会指出一些错误的意见。之后，
伴随学习的深入，对网络<
/p>
和其他人的优秀作品的了解，我开始修正一些观念和想法。比如箭头的放置、处理，平面图
的图标，本着直观、醒目、详细、实用的原则，在和对方的充分讨论和磨合中，完成了一
些
自认为比较好的作品。可惜，外科大楼楼层索引最终因为经费
（或上级意见不合）
而被砍掉
一些精彩的部分，引为遗憾。
