protection

of

documents

and

products

is

governed

primarily

by

legislation

on

industrial

property

rights

and

copyright

law.

It

is

recommended

that

additional

protection

against

the

improper

use

of

documents

and

products

be

provided

by

means

of

protection

notices

that

go

beyond

the

legal

requirements.

As a rule, full protection is afforded only by means of contractual agreements between all interested parties.

notices

specified

standard

rights of copyright holders and holders of industrial property rights, and by so doing provide additional

protection against any infringements.

This standard specifies protection notices, which serve to restrict the use of documents and products,

and help prevent any improper use thereof.

standardized

texts,

these

notices

bring

attention

to

the

existence

of

a

copyright

or
