Take your time.
有人会抱
怨现代科技令人变得不守时，
往往在最后一刻才用手机或电邮通知要迟到，
此时在
另一端的你不妨大方点说：
Take
your time.
（不用急，慢慢来），反正也迟到，拿你没办
法。或者说：
It's not urgent. Take your
time./ No rush./ No hurry.
相反，如果是赶
急的情况该说：
It's urgent. / Rush hour.
/ Hurry up.
。
说到
字，这个字用途非常广泛，例如：
Ta

nap.
（小睡片刻）、
Take
a
bath.
（洗
< br>个澡）、
Take a
break.
（小休一下）。
对话
A:
What's up with you?
B: I'm
in a hurry. My flight leaves at 7:30 this morning.
A: Don't worry. You can
take a taxi and get to the airport in 30 minutes.

your time.
B: What if there's a traffic accident
or a traffic jam?
A: It's
early. I don't think there will be much traffic.
甲：你在干吗？

乙：如果有交通意外或塞车怎么办？

简单现在时动词
（
simple
present
tense
）
说未来的固定安排，前面谈过这用法，今不赘言。
某甲见时间还早，就
叫某乙

，那是‘不用着急’的意思，例如：

（还
有时间，实在不必匆忙，为什
么不由她慢慢来呢？）
有时

也有
‘太慢’
的含义，
例
如：

吞）。
但某乙还是担心赶不及：

两字值得注意。

是‘假如．．．．那么怎样？’的意思，通常可用
suppose
/ supposing
取代，例如：

。但一般假设子句须和主要子句

clause)
连用，
