with

the

purpose
of
English
teaching;

However,

factors
should
be
responsible
for

phenomenon.
On
the
one
hand,
with
wide
criticism
from
the
public
and
media,
grammar
is
thought
to
be
the
cause
of
the
so-called
“
deaf
and
dumb
”English
.
On
the
other
hand,
influenced
by
communicative
teaching
method,
many
teachers
insist
that
communication
skills
should
be
the
priority
in
English
teaching.
As
a
consequence,
many
a
student
cannot
write
an
article
without
grammatical, spelling
and tense mistakes.
As
far
as
I’
m
concerned,
grammar
and
communication
should
be
balance
in
English
teaching,
and
neither
should
be
overemphasized
at
the
expense
of
the
other
.
With
grammatical
abilities,
a
good
article
will
be written; with communicative
skills,
“
deaf and
dumb
”English
will meet ifs fate.

exercise

an
effective
way
to
relieve
pressure
and
keep

pleasant

Besides,

attending

activities,
students
can
have
chances
to
communicate
with others, which can help them
improve their
social skills. However,
some college students do
not
like
to
attend
sports
activities.
They
argue
that physical exercise is not a
necessary part of
college life. In
their opinion, those activities can

nothing but waste their time.

far
as

m
concerned,
I
prefer
the
former , it is very unwise
of college
students
to
keep
distance
from
physical
exercise
because
physical exercise can

well
to
