The Spring Festival is a traditional festival in
China(Spring Festival is the most important festival in
China). Chinese Spring Festival celebrating the end of
winter and the warmth of spring. On the eve of the Spring
Festival we will clean the house, buy new clothes. On the
night of the day before Spring Festival, families get
together for dinner. We'll eat dumplings in Spring
Festival, it is a traditional food. Children like the
festival very much, because they can eat a lot of delicious
food, wear beautiful clothes. They also can get lucky money
of parents. The money can bring good luck for the children

The Mid- Autumn is a very important Chinese festival. It
falls on the 15th day of August. A few days before the
festival, everyone in the family will help to make the
house clean and beautiful. Lanterns will be hung in front

evening there will be a big family dinner. People who
work far away from their homes will try to e back for the
union. After dinner, people will light the lanterns which
are usually red and round. Children will play with their
own toy lanterns happily. At night the moon is usually
round and bright. People can enjoy the moon while eating
moon-cakes which are the special food for this festival.
They can look back on the past and look forward to the
future together. It is said that there was a dragon in the
sky. The dragon wanted to swallow up the moon. To protect
the frighten the dragon away.

Spring Festival

My best festival is Spring Festival. It is in Janurary
or February. It is the most important festival for the
Chinese people. On that day everybody dresses up. First
they extend greetings to their parents. Then each child
will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up in red paper.

People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings,
for breakfast, the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot
from ancient China. So people eat them and wish for money


and treasure. Burning fireworks was once the most typical
custom on the Spring Festival. I like spring festival very
much. It's my favourite holiday.


我最喜爱的节日是春节，它在一月或者二月。对于中国人来说这
是最重要的节日。在那天，每个人都认真打扮，他们会像父母问
好，然后每个孩子会得到红包作为新年 礼物。
