Teacher’s Day

Teaching is the most glorious and respected career. On Teacher’s Day,

I’d like to express my innermost appreciation and gratefulness to all the

teachers in the world!

Teachers are the shapers of human souls. I still remember how my

teachers pulled my through a critical moment. I did a bad job in the first

preparation test for the entrance examination and I was considerably

depressed. Then my teachers came to my rescue. Patiently, my English

teacher analyzed the paper word by word and encouraged me to carry on

My Chemistry teacher also gave me a precious gift. He told me not to be

obsessed with the test results and encouraged me to find fun in learning.

Their help enabled me to survive the competition and will surely benefit

Should the University Campus Be Open to Tourists?

One can always find visitors taking pictures and enjoying the scenery

in university campus. During the May Day Holiday, National Day

Holiday, summer and winter vacations, many University campuses

become popular tourist sites. In my opinion, university campus should

be open to tourists.

In fact, there are many royal gardens and parks, all of them obviously

better than the scenery in the Universities. Why do you think people

prefer visiting here with their children? That is because it is a dream goal

for many Chinese parents and young ambitious students. Besides this, as

more tourists come to visit universities, these universities can widen

their influence as well and they can also make some profit from the

tourism.

In a word, I think the university campus should be open to the

The hard and hectic (busy and bustling) semester is drawing to close.

The Students’ Union is scheduled to org

anize a clean-up program to the

Zhongshan Lake. The purpose of this program is to enhance the

environment awareness of general public. We are now recruiting new

members of volunteers for the event.

The program procedure goes like this: next Saturday morning at 9:00

volunteers of 50 will go to the Zhongshan lake .Around the lake we will

put up signs and posters calling people’s attention to the importance of

in environment protection and pick up the trash by some tourists. This

will certainly attract a lot of people since it is a weekend and the park is

particularly popular with tourists. Each day there is an estimated number

of 2000 people visiting the place, sight-seeing and picnic-going. This

must be both exiting and rewarding.
