Flipped

is a 2010 romantic comedy drama film directed by Rob Reiner. It is an

adaptation of the novel

Flipped

by Wendelin Van Draanen. It began alimited release in

the US on August 6, 2010, followed by a wider release on September 10.

The film tells the love story about Bryce and Juli. At the first sight when Juli

met Bryce, she flipped. But Bryce does not like Juli, he try his best to get rid of Juli.

When sixth grade

Bryce have date with Shelly, a girl Juli hates. But later, they broke

up. From Juli's point of view, when she and Bryce first met, he returned her feelings

but was just shy and embarrassed. When he

get her first kiss from him in the second grade. After knowing that Bryce and Shelly

broke up, she thought she could have her Bryce back. She spent the whole year

smelling his watermelon-scented hair and wondering if she'd ever get her kiss.

In seventh grade, Bryce's grandfather Chet moves in with the family. Chet like

Juli very much for Juli let him think of his wife. Chet and Juli form a strong

friendship over time while he helps her work on her messy lawn. Chet tell Bryce that

some of us get dipped in flat, some in satin, some in gloss; but every once in a while,

you find someone who's iridescent, and once you do, nothing will ever compare.(

) Then, in eighth grade, everything changes. Bryce begins to see that

Juli's unusual interests and pride in her family are kind of cool. And Juli starts to think

that maybe Bryce's brilliant blue eyes are as empty as the rest of Bryce seems to be.
