Why should we take oral English into
account?
With the development of the
economy, people are getting more and more chance
to
communicate with the foreigner.
Since our educating system is not perfect, more
students
just
pay
attention
to
written
English.
They
can
write
the
English
and
learn
the English grammar well,
but they can not talk with the foreigner smoothly
and
express their idea clearly. In
order to boost our economy, we need to do business
with foreigner. Then, you need not only
write English but also speak English. If
you master both well, you will have the
chance to defeat your rivals. In a word,
oral English is as important as written
English.
不少学生不重视英语口语

As
it
comes
to
English
learning,
many
of
the
students
would
like
to
pay
more
attention
to the reading and
writing, instead of considering speaking as the
most important
aspect of their
learning. As English is one of the most important
and universal
languages in the world,
it is no doubt that spoken English is of great
importance
during the international
communications.
The
reason
why
we
are
not
focused
more
on
spoken
English
originates
from
our
teaching
and testing
methods. In class, the teachers take much time on
explaining grammar
and articles, while
the tests require skills and knowledge mainly on
reading and
writing.
Based
on
my
personal
experiences
and
opinions,
there
are
suggetions
that
can
be
taken.
First of all, the students should take
every chance to practise their English
speaking.
For
example,
they
can
talk
to
others
in
English,
take
part
in
some
English
activities such as the
English corner. Secondly, but importantly, always
take
speaking as priority in English
learning. By focusing and practising more, the
students could make great progress on
Spoken English.
