the graph, this school, the epitome of all the
schools in Shanghai, didn’t have a
good
control of its water and electricity use. The
water amount rises from 80 to 95 while electricity
climbs from 60 to 75, both of which
demand our prompt attention. As a citizen, my
suggestions to
develop Shanghai into an
economized society are listed as follows.
To begin with, lights should be turned
off when no one is in the room. The mentioned
“room”
ranges from classroom to home in
definition. Fans are highly recommended to replace
air-conditioners
in summer time. In
addition, water is encouraged to be recycled if
possible. Finished using in
dish-
washing, water can be used in
toilet-flushing. Creative minds are appreciated in
using water in
different
purposes. What’s more, clothing bags ought to substitute for paper bags in daily life. The
behavior of bringing one’s paper bag to
the supermarket contributes to terminating white
pollution.
Shanghai, a
metropolitan city worldwide, expects our efforts
to help itself turn into an
economized
society, which in turn will benefit ourselves and
our future generations as well.

from the pie chart shows that “classmates and
friends” ranks first at 58%, which

followed by “their own” at 33%. However, the least
proportion goes to “parents and teachers” at
only 9%.
As far as I am
concerne
d, I’m not among the majority that tends to ask friends for help. I am
more willing to go to parents and
teachers and I think my peers should also consider
going to them
when in trouble.
Firstly, parents and teachers may know
more about you than yourselves. Since they have a
more
objective and all-
around perspective on you, they are bound to give you useful advice. What’s more,
parents and
teachers are experienced adults who must have
suffered many worries and hardships.
They must have accumulated much
experience which can broaden your horizons when
you deal with
matters. Last but not
least, by having constant communications with your
parents and teachers, you
are sure to
strengthen the relationship with them despite the
generation gap. In a word, to go to adults
when in trouble may help you more when
you are in difficulty.
For the reasons
above, I want to call on my peers to communicate
more often with their parents
and
teachers.

As for me, I cannot agree with the view
more that actions are also of vital importance in

aspects

daily
life
besides

more meaningful to donate books

need. We ought to
feel it our duty to
strictly follow traffic rules, stopping at the red
light rather than complaining about

But this is not the only illusion; we
also communicate less in real life. One can be a

social networks but a freshman
in reality. Fascinating as the computers may look,
they set walls for
the revelation of
our personality and nature. Only through face-to-
face communication can one
actually
communicate, and communication serves as the
frame

work of a society and paints the
picture of life.
From
what has been mentioned above, computers weaken
our brain in one sense, but it is not the
machines that are to blame. Only when
we embrace culture can we empower our future.
