There are
four seasons in a year, spring, summer, autumn and
winter.
But spring is my favourite
season. It usually comes in March in my city.
In
spring,
the
days
get
longer
and
longer
and
the
weather
becomes
warmer
and
warmer.
The
trees
become
green
and the
flowers
blossom.
On windy
days, I like flying kites with my friends. I also
like going for a
walk
in
the
morning
because
I
like
the
fresh
air
outside.

How to Plant a Tree
First,dig a hole and make sure that
it

s large enough for the tree. But the
hole
should
not
be
too
deep.
Then
knock
a
long,
strong
stick
into
the
earth in the hole. Remember to find a
straight one.
Next, put the tree in
the hole
next
to
the
stick
so that
it
’
s
straight.
Put
the
earth
back
in
the
hole again. Push
it down hard with your feet several times.
Finally, tie the
tree to the stick to
keep it straight and water it well.

Plants are very important on the earth. The wind and water can

dirt
away

there

plants.
Plants
also
make
everything
beautiful.
Plants

very
important

people
and
animals.
Life

because plants take energy from the sun
and turn it into food. It means plants
can make food from the air, water

sunlight. But people and animals
can

t do it. Animals eat plants and
people eat animals and plants. So
animals and people need plants to live.
In
a
word,
we
can

t
live
without
plants.
So
there
are
so
many
plants
around us.

A Special Member
There is a special member in my family ---a lovely dog named Betty.
It has lived with us for two years, and we all love it. Last week, my
parents
took
me
and
Betty
to
a
park.
At
noon,
when
my
parents
were
busy
getting
ready
for
the
picnic.
I
walked
to
a
river
nearby.
Betty
followed
me
happily.
I
fell
into
the
river
when
I
was
trying
to
pick
a
flower. Betty barked and jumped into
the water at once. When my parents
heard Betty barking, they ran to the
river quickly and they saw Betty was
pushing me to the bank with its mouth.
Now
we
love
Betty
more
than
before,
and
we
consider
it
as
a
member of my family.

Protect Animals in Danger
Animals are our friends. We live in the
same home. Animals
even help people
sometimes. But many animals have been in danger
of disappearing in the world. Such as
pandas, tigers and so on.
We are not alone in the world. We could not live without plants
and
animals
around
us,
so
protecting
them
is
very
important.
We
should
call
on
people
to
do
something
useful
to
help
the
animals.
For example, we can
save money to buy much food for animals. We
can also stop people from killing
animals. If each of us can plant a
tree
or the government can build more wild zoos, the
world will be
more beautiful.
