一、开头点明主题（中心句）

Life in the future
We all need to play a part in protecting the environment and saving our earth. Or our earth will be a dirty and dangerous planet.
People will live in crowded neighborhoods. And there will be less fresh water because there will be more pollution in the sea.
People can’t drink healthy water, so they will be ill easily. Students will have to stay at home because the air will be polluted too.
Maybe there will not be animals and plants.
This kind of future is terrible. For this reason, we need to do something from now on. First, we need to stop polluting the
environment in great danger. We can also use less water and plant more trees. If we start to do them now, we will still be able to
see blue skies in our beautiful cities.

Students’ life in 50 years
Now I want to make a prediction about student’s life in 50 years. I think students’ life in 50 years will be quite different. For
example, they won’t get up early and they won’t have to go to school. I believe they will study at home on computers and all of
them will have their own computers. There will not be paper, pens or books. Because everything will be on computers. It’s easy to
get bored, though. Besides, people will have robots in their homes. When they feel thirty or hungry, the robots will bring food and
drink to them. For this reason, I think it will be impossible for people to live to be 50 years old. Because they may hardly ever go
out and play sports.
If I live in 50 years, I may think this kind of life is sad. I won’t like it at all. Because I like to meet my teachers and classmates every
day and I can have a healthy life.
