recreational
activities

following ones: hanging out with
friends in parties and clubs, watching films, etc.
Those activities
bring about benefits
as well as disadvantages.
Participating
in such leisure activities, on the one hand,
provides them with great benefits. To
begin
with,
it
helps
to
enhance
the
communication
between
undergraduates
who
are
often
busy
themselves in
their homework and researches. It invigorates
their off-class lives. Moreover, it will
lesson their anxiety and pressure and
give them fresh feeling, thus enabling them engage
in their
works by heart and soul .
On the other hand, it does harm to
them.
Firstly,
it distracts students
from their studies. To some
extent, they can’t find a good balance between the
entertainment and
study.
As
a
university
student,
I
will
spare
no
efforts
to
strike
a
balance
between
recreation
and
study.
Only in this way can we develop ourselves in an
all-around way.

We all know that elective course can make a free space for everyone to show their strong
points,
develop
their
imaginations,
creations
and
personal
styles.
Every
term
our
school
would
offer a range of elective courses which
you can choose according to your own areas of
interest. I
always read all course
information and analysis which one is suitable for
us study. This semester, I
took an
course about psychological health as my elective
course.
Nowadays,
it
is
a
common
phenomenon
that
people
go
to
have
some
psychological
consultations, including students in
school. I always face great pressure from study
and life. Being
depressed for a long
time, I doubt if I am physically healthy. So I
choose it as my eclective course
of
this term.
During the course, my mental state improved greatly. First and foremost, I tried to build up
a healthy
lifestyle. Furthermore, I realized that we need to
find different ways to relax ourselves
when
we
face
severe
competition.
Thirdly,
we
should
be
sympathetic.
Thanks
to
the
electives
course.

reasons. But as far as I am concerned, Fashion and
Image Design
course is worth studying
for each individual.
First, a good appearance may help us make a better impression in social contacts. The

Second,
Fashion adds spice to life with its
rich color, variety, and beauty. The world will be

dressed is of psychological importance. Because
dress properly can enhance
our self-
confidence in appearance, which will lead to

s the reason why I choose this course. The confident people are the most charming

Nowadays,
there
usually
exists
a
wide
selection
of
electives
for
college
students
to
choose from. However,
students have quite different plans for their
future so they always end up
learning
courses based on their own ideas.
Some students may choose to learn a certain course in order to obtain an extra certificate

job

graduation.
Because
they
assume
that
some
more
knowledge
could
ensure
more chances of winning in finding a good job.
Others may have their choice made just for

works and how to deal with it when it breaks down.
So, they can all get what they
think is
useful to their college life.
On the whole, the phenomenon is one of the results of multi-demand of the employment
market. There is still a long way for
us to improve the elective itself, but as a
student myself, I find
it rewarding and
interesting
