Climb
performance
is
important

a
climb
the
potential energy of the aircraft is increased and fuel energy must be expended to achieve this. The fuel required
to climb to a given height can be minimized by the used of the correct climb technique and optimum economy
of
operation
can
be
attained.
Economy,
however,
is
not
the
only
criterion
of
operation.

safety
of
the
aircraft
depends

its
ability
to

the
