No Happiness without Contribution First
True happiness comes from helping others. In my viewpoint, the
happiest individuals in the world are those who are volunteers like Lei Fe
ng. They help others without any expectation of substantial returns. They

obtain true happiness from their unselfish acts of making others happy. T
hey are in some sense the angels to people who are in need of help.

The spirit of volunteering is of much significance to build a warm
society. Some people nowadays tend to earn much money for the purpose
of harvesting happiness for themselves or their family. To an extent, they
are not truly happy but being selfish. Their happiness is reduced to indivi
dualistic happiness. In order to have a better community, more volunteers
who are willing to help others are needed.

In conclusion, contributing first by helping others is the key to get
true happiness. Only in that way can all the people, including the volunte
ers themselves and the people receiving their help, feel happy. With every
one embracing the spirit of volunteering, our country will be a warmer an
d happier home for all of us.
